Congratulations to the losers - Jackie_W, Rockie, lil_me, queenpig cheerfulness and sorry if I've forgotten anyone!:T
Cheerfulness - like you said any loss is good!:T it all takes us to our target!
Pebbles - I like eating mushy peas from the tin too, and baked beans and tinned spaghetti!:D my DH cant understand how I can do it!
RS - I'm sorry you are still having such a tough time and I'm glad you didn't give her a lift to work:T well done, its not easy saying no but its the right thing to do sometimes. Good for you!:T
not too good a day yesterday - was taken for granbted at work by a new young member of staff and felt really pi**ed off so ate a choccie mousse and slice of battenberg:mad: but I did stick up for myself and they apologised eventually!;) then last nught we wqent to a party with work and I had a few bits from the buffet - a small tuna wrap, cheese sandwich, breadstick and a handful of crisps - didn't need it but ate it anyway:rolleyes: was one of those days!

Hello folks :hello:
Well done to the losers :T
RS - Stick to your guns with your daughter and start putting yourself first! :j
Taplady - Cauldron sausages are yummy - my favourites!!
I like mushy peas but can't eat anything like that cold. Pasta and potatoes I love cold in fact I prefer pasta cold with a little salt and pepper, good for when the nibbles strike!
Last night I had quorn fajita strips with stirfried veggies with a yoghurt for pud. I had a glass of wine later on, I deserved it seeing as how I cleaned the house right through after doing a full days work
Today I've had yoghurt and blueberries followed by boiled eggs and soldiers and I've had a jacket and beans for lunch. Spinach quiche (no pastry) with roasties and veggies for tea and I might make some SW tortilla chips to nibble through the evening.
Tomorrow will be a bad food day, OH is off this weekend so we're having a day out - the seaside I hope:D so we'll be eating out  but I will try to make sensible choices.
See you:A later folks0 -
Rockie - what are the SW Tortilla chips?Do what you love :happyhear0

Hi All,
Well done Cheerfulness on your weight loss and dropping below the next level. Your OH sounds lovely and will have no doubt given you added impetus to keep on going. Glad to hear Jane that you refused to give your daughter a lift this morning - it should make her think a bit about taking you for granted. She can't expect favours from you if she can't accept the fact that it carries with it responsibilities and respect for you at the same time.
Well the sunshine is back, although with a bit of a cold wind so we can get out for our walks again. We haven't been down to the beach today but did get 2 walks - one to the shop for bread and one to friends - totalling around 6,000 steps.
I made the mistake of baking for OH last night. Despite all my good intentions I succumbed to a rasperry biscuit warm from the oven which was at least 250 calories. Not the most sensible thing to do after a week of no exercise. I have resisted any more though. Isn't it strange how exercising can often make it easier to be restrained than not?
B: Usual muesli etc. Fruit juice.
L: Chicken in a piece of soft and delicious freshly baked baguette. Raspberry yoghurt.Minced beef crammed with peas and carrots. Mashed potato. Melon
Snacks: orange, banana.
Have a good weekend everyone,

Evening all
well done on the losses folks :j ..and cheerfulness you are right.. you still lost half a pack of butter/lard :T and got to your 3st target ...woohoo
Made it ....eventually... Was up n out at 7:30 this morning.. walked around whilst hubby played [STRIKE]hockey[/STRIKE] sorry -golf... wasn't a good day for him today :rotfl: ...still it ended up with 2 1/2hrs walking as we zig zagged across the course.
Got home via the naffi... but only picked up whoopsed milk, potatoes, fruit, parsnips and iceberg n tomatoesalthough hubby treated himself to a pack of 10 frazzle type crisps and 10 wotsit type snacks:eek: ... lets see if they make it through the weekend  he has allready demolished 6 bags  good job he doesn't do it very often... Strangely enough they aren't interesting me :j i just wanted to get home for my lunch..i was desperate for something to eat -but it had to be something "proper"
Then i spent hours in the back garden filling loads of containers with compost and dragging them round the patio..some cals burnt there -trust me:p have soooo many plants n seedlings getting ready to go out..soooo excited
So meals today are:-- brekkie -hubby did me 1 slice hm bread with 2 pieces of bacon -those extra lean medallion things ...nom nom nom
- lunch -made a tuna pasta salad and had a few grapes
- snacky -1 cherry yogurt
- dinner (any minute now:D ) jacket potato with cottage cheese and salad..1 of both our faves :j
right i had bet off and get the salad done.... hope everyone is ok today..will catch up properly with everything later...
have a great evening everyone-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
hiya,
another lovely day again today. took the family to my dads and had a lovely afternoon down by the river.
have been pretty good today.
brekky.. hm granary roll and jam
lunch.. tuna salad
dinner hm spanish chicken and rice and a very small bowl of hm tiramisu....twas yummy.
still feeling slimmish again today....lol
thanks0 -
Had two delicious flapjacks last night that I bought at yesterday's coffee morning and most of a chocolate bunny that DGD1 left behind...there was a lot of chocolate...so much for the good intentions of having fruit only!!
Took OH shopping to-day to buy him new shoes for the Oz trip...he is worse than a child, hates buying himself anything but its done now so that's him sorted for anything I need him with me to buy. Had small helping of porridge before we left but of course we had to get something to eat...the man loves wasting money on food out..so had a huge club sandwich and white coffee each, even ate the crisps and biscuit that came as extras! Mind you, that was 8hours ago and I have only had 2 clementines, plum, apple and a pear since so considering my dinner, even though there is a very nice shepherds pie in the oven....hopefully can manage to leave it for dinner for to-morrow!
Mrs MC...any seedlings outside here to-day would have suffered badly, we have had hail, thunder and lightening showers, with rain in between for a change...only around 5-6 degrees at the warmest.
RS...if you can manage to get across to DD that if she wants to behave like an adult (staying out all night, refusing to say where she is etc) that she will have to take responsibility for getting herself to work and for other things that you currently do for her it might sink in what an unpleasant person she is being at present...don't mention what you have done for her as she will quickly come back with things like not asking you to do them, not asking to be born and other beauties...can you tell that I have been through seven teenages with mine?? Hugs for you and refuse to let her see you upset...you needn't take rubbish from her...leave the room and leave her to rant alone.
Sorry for being off target...

Just catching up on the thread, I am so impressed with now well everyone has been doing overall
I am really sorry for starting, being welcomed, and then not coming near the thread for several weeks. My bf's mum was really ill and eventually died about 10 days ago. I have been busy supporting him, and put all things mse like comping and diets to the side. Things are a bit easier now, so I am looking forward to joining you again, if thats ok?
RS sorry to hear about your dd. I have been on my own with dd too for six years (bf of one year, but don't live together) and know its so hard being by yourself in these situations. How old is your dd? Mine is 15 (just about to be 16) and has had a really difficult year. I did what MM advised and made her take responsiblity for her life, actions and consequnces more. She is much better now. Thinking of you0 -
Hi Prudent welcome- don't worry we all have times when real life takes precedence over food intake and forums! Sorry to hear OH lost his Mum, lucky he had you to look after him eh!!
I have three daughters- been smooth so far but from a very early age I could picture my youngest dancing in a cage in a night club  you'd never seen such raunchy moves during musical chairs at nursery:o so I'm waiting for my turn:rolleyes:
Oh MRSM I bought slim at home today, never seen it before but was looking for a read :-)0
