    Morning everyone,
I hope everyone dosen`t mind me gatecrashing like this but i NEED to lose a bit of weight (well a lot really) and i think that this is going to be the best/ friendliest place to do it.
I`ve been "oldstyling" since just before Christmas and now i`ve got the hang of a few things i need to lose a couple of stone to begin with before my holidays later this year and then hopefully a couple more afterwards.
My freezer is jam packed full of naughty food and also some thats not so naughty and i can`t go over my budget as i`m doing the Grocery Challenge and also i can`t afford to :o . The frozen things will be used first i think and then as the weather improves i`ll make more salads.
I`ve noticed that you all post what you eat so i`ll start by doing the same and then you can all tell me off when i`ve had something terrible :D
My portion sizes have come down quite a bit since i started OS and i`ve only put on about 4lb since Christmas which isn`t bad for me at all so i must be doing ok and it`s all the extra baking thats done for me, i`ll be controlling that a bit better soon i hope.
When i`ve worked out what breakfast and lunch will be i`ll be back.
    SD
Planning on starting the GC again soon :p

    Morning all,

Hiya Sunnyday -nobody will tell you off for eating the so called 'naughty' foods on here...we might ask you for the recipe tho. :D

Toniwoty- that little gains a blip... you'll be fine next week. You've got the right idea, drawing a line under it and getting back on with it. ;)

Well I had a right day of eating yesterday. What got into me? Shall I tell you what I ate? :o

Yesterdays food: (definitely not to plan!)
    Readybrek (good girl :D )
Natural yoghurt with nuts, banana & maple syrup (didn't I have breakfast  )
    Apple
    Another 2 apples
2 slices of seedy bread with butter and 2 boiled beetroot
5 peanut m & ms (retrieved pk off DS2 after sternly telling him they were his dads :o )
    7 crackers with blue stilton
Large portion of beef hot pot (DH stuck at work so ate his)
    2 mandarins
Small portion of turkey hot pot (defrosted for OH but he wanted cheese jacket pot)
    1 boiled beetroot

I was eyeing up the m & ms again but OH got possessive and wouldn't share.

Wow.. shocking even myself when I read it back. I think I had a bad day. I sat and thought about it this morning and I realised that I've really missed DS1 and mum and dad. I've been worried about dad as he's not been so well (nearly 80 and its starting to show) and he collapsed the last couple of years while abroad.
Its silly cos my sis is with them and she's more than capable of taking care of them all.
Blagghhh, I'm just a worry guts...made worse by the fact I spotted my dad secreting his driving licence into his flight bag after faithly promising me he wouldn't hire a car. He's lethal on the roads over there! Don't want DS1 in with him.

Think I just have to accept I'm a bit of a control freak and like all my loved ones within 'looking after' distance. :o Will just have to get over it. :p

DonnaP - Are you doing alright and behaving yourself madam! (was that stern enough? :D )
Feel better for that :p .. I've found someone else to fuss over. ;)

    Okays...

Food today: (and if someone could yell, 'oi keep your fingers off the crackers,' I'd be most grateful. ;) )

Boiled egg with Wml bread fingers (will have as brunch)
Scotch egg salad with boiled potatoes

    Snacks - pear, apple, mandarin

Will have another coffee before hoovering the stairs and changing all the beds. Then DS1's room.

    Take care everyone. ;)

    Hi again all,
    thanks for the welcome.
I`m now eating my first meal of the day after 5 cups of tea:eek:

BF 2 slices of toast with a scraping of olive spread & liver and bacon spread

Lunch Chicken & pasta surprise & maybe a jacket potato

Dinner 1 tortilla filled with dry fried mushrooms peppers & onions chicken soft cheese with garlic and a tiny sprinkle of cheddar

If i`m hungry later i will have one slice of toast with a tin of tuna on, i`m on the late shift at the moment and get hungry at silly times, there is an emergency hot cross bun in the kitchen which is tiny and a lemonade scone in the fridge but i`m not sure if thats ok or not and there are hobnobs in the tin too.
i`m not planning on eating all those but never say never:o
    Good luck everyone

    :hello: Morning folks
mhe  Hi and welcome Sunnyday!

Toniwoty - if there's any muffins left after the meeting I'll virtually send you one!

I did try one last night - only to test they were ok of course and I wrote it on my 'syns' sheet....12.5  better not have another today!

Brekkie was boiled eggs and soldiers, lunch is leftover roasted veg and couscous, I've got fruit and tea will be cauli cheese and SW wedges.

Managed 10,000 steps yesterday and hoping to do the same today, no swimming this week  the pool I swim at is being used for training for the championship thing that Saversarn is at and the times for public swimming are few and far between.....I'll go next week.

    See you later folks :A

    Morning all :D

Been out in the garden allready :j .... shhhhhh don't tell anyone -but its rather nice out at the moment ;) ..can't say it out loud as the weather hears me and it will then snow on my peas:p .....
Have been sat on the step and have transplanted some kelvendon wonder peas and rheindallen peas and some sugar snaps.... they are in troughs so they can be taken into the basement at night :D well until they are tall enough to need canes then they will have to fend for themselves -well with a bit of fleece to keep em warm :o . But it means i now have room in the windowsills to plant some more :D

Anyway..I haven't got around to brekkie yet... think i might have weetabix for lunch :p
Dinner tonight is salad with chicken and steamed potatoes (have got 2 lots of rather nice spudlies as i want to let a couple of each get eyes -so i can plant them in a tub :o )some are only a bit bigger than a grape and the others are some lovely waxy reds -god i need to get a grip :rotfl:

On the "smash" debate.... years ago it used to be lovely.. the last time i tried some it was awful -like wallpaper paste.... I love potatoes in just about any form... but i have to admit to still putting butter in my mash :D and an egg ...if you are doing shepherds pie etc and whack an egg in the mash it puffs up a little and goes crispy on top -mind the crispy might be down to putting butter on top :p .... I figure i would rather have a smaller portion of buttery mash than a big one without :D . mind i only buy butter now -after years of "low fat spread" that makes your toast wet..yukkkkkk.... good old butter mmmmmmmmmm
My mum keeps in some frozen potato.. can't remember who makes it..one has spring onion in and the other has carrot and swede..and they are both really nice.. she has that in the freezer for when her arthritis is playing up ..and it really is lovely... im sure she gets it from Herron..

DonnaP... how are you doing? :D

and Cheerfulness..... step away from the crackers :D

Good luck with the weigh in Taplady ;)

Hello and welcome on board sunnyday :T

I think this afternoon i will get some more bits n bobs of seeds set and then im not sure quite what i will do to occupy myself  .... might have a rummage through my gardening books.. so not a lot of exercise happening here today  must get out for a walk tomorrow..thing is i don't need anything as such..hmmmm will think of something :D

Anyway..will get off for now..hope everyone has a good day..
    oh and just in case:-
cheerfulness..we said "step away from the crackers" ;)
