It's just dawned on me what a bunch of nutters you all are :D

Have decieded I'l just pop in every now and then if that's OK with everyone. I've got used to not comming on here and TBH it was getting too much before. I found I was spending time on here and other things were slipping ~ I once realised I hadn't fed the tadpoles in 4 days :o (joke!)

Had a busy day today which helps food wise as I'm too busy to be a piggy ;) Focusing on my new job in Sept so trying to loose as much as poss before then so I'm at me best

Have a good evening all, special thoughts to me mates ;)

    hiya peeps.

sorry i have not done proper post in ages but not had chance!

had weird day, okish food wise (i think)

B - yoghurt with pumpkin n sunflower seeds

L - Food doctor bagel with low fat spread and 2 giant cheese snack jack rice cakes

T - ok this is where it went weird, pinched 4 mini sausage rolls (cooked for DH  he will not be happy) whilst making twinks hob nobs, had 2 small ones of those and now feel sick :o

but it has been better today than last couple of weeks where i have just gone off the rails, so i am trying to get back into this now. so fingers crossed!!!

have also just ordered a lovely dress (half price too, very :money: from catalogue 2 sizes smaller for my hols to give me an incentive!

PS: smash isnt cheating if when you buy spuds you end up forgetting about them anyway and have to throw them away when they start to rot - like me!! plus i cant peel or chop em myself so thats my excuse!!!

PPS: my MIL used to do the best mash ever before she went all health conscious on us, lovely creamy mash mmmmm     sniff

  • I didn't even know they still made smash.... used to love it when we were kids, always had it with beans and mixed it up to make great big pile of orange goo!! I can still see those little tin men on the ad rolling round laughing.....

Tea tonight was inspired by whoever mentioned potato waffles.... was going to have beans on toast anyway but had a little rootle in the freezer and found some frosty old waffles (they've been lurking at the back for ages for lazy emergencies!) so had beans on waffles instead with a poached egg stuck on top - absolutely delish!!

Wrong sort of Rockies, imagine me in boots, hard hat and hivis jacket with a hammer in me hand knocking lumps off a cliff face!

I've had roasted veggies and couscous tonight.......as we're swearing and saying 'Smash' I'll confess to Ainsley's instant couscous :shhh:

Frogga - nice to 'see' you again!! yes, we're a bunch of nutters but as they say it takes one to know one......
