A couple of iffy days for me too as well meanmarie, but I try and start afresh every day. I figure at least that way the first part of the day will be good!

So far, orange, but porridge in a minute. Salad of some description for lunch, or mushrooms in sauce if it seems too cold for salad!

Dinner is burgers (no bread for me) potato wedges (only a couple for me) and salad. DS made the burgers for me the other day. Getting him trained in OS ways. We worked out how much they had cost as well!

Good luck to those getting a weigh in and well done those who have done well,.

Well done :T droopydrawers (makes me chuckle each time I type out your name :rotfl: )

Marie - with me its each time I get near a big mile stone, like going down to the next stone or near the next goal, that I start picking at food. It must be something psychological because lots of us seem to do it. Must be the ole sabotage syndrome.

Tis cold and miserable inside and out today. Whacked the heating on and going to make myself another mug of tea. Can't stand the cold these days. :p

    Food today:
    Readybrek
Cheese salad sandwich in HM seedy bread
HM beef hot pot with steamed cabbage and carrots.

Snacks - yoghurt with fruit and nuts, pear, apples

Feel like I need to get walking as my knees have been feeling better and I want them to stay that way but its so wet and chilly. Can't wait for the hot summer they're promising us.
Must nip round to mums to feed their moggie... always a bit scary as theirs brings 'presents' home. My own only catches blowflies. :o
Then a trip to the library before I get fines. I'll check out the cookery book section while I'm there. ;)

Must go and make my cuppa and get my readybrek now...then for the ironing mountain.

    Morning ladies!

havent caught up with yesterdays posts yet but I will!

I slipped a bit yesterday - went to the buffet which was awful and had 2 quarters of brown bread sarnies - egg and tuna, a finger sized piece of veggie quiche, some grapes and a choccie mini roll! Later after a healthy tea of low fat veggie chilli and wedges I had a tiny bit of apple pie and custard(skimmed milk). Then to top it off DH brought home a box of broken biccies from work which were calling out to me so I had 2 in bed!:D

Food plans today - not really got any but here goes

B - mini shreddies and skimmed milk

L - jacket spud, salad - not sure what filling

    D ???

snacks - plums, bananas and lowfat yoghurt. I will NOT eat any more biscuits:D

    Back later

    TTFN x

Caterina - well done:T :T :T bet you feel brilliant and really motivated now!

pigpen - forget to eat?:confused:NEVER:D I can honestly say I have never missed my breakfast or forgotten to eat in my life! more a case of thinking about food all the time and wondering what to eat next! :D I'm sure you know that its important to eat regularly to stop your body going into 'famine mode' and hanging on to all your calories as it doesn't know when there's more food coming!

MRSM - am glad you're back!:j hope you feel better soon - like I said to pigpen - make sure you are eating enough!

Frogga :hello: I'm with you on the olives! yuk but I quite like beetroot!:D

Its my ususal fortnightly cake fix today(WI with Mum) but after yesterday I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't have any! I will have a battle with myself over whether to eat it but as ususal will probably give in!:D

    hello!
In a much better mood today even though I got caught in a massive hail storm this morning whilst out walking the dog - he wasn't impressed either!

I ended up having 2 quorn sausages, a couple of small roast potatoes, peas and a big yorkshire pudding for dinner last night as I wasn't expecting to be in and had to concoct from the freezer.
I must say that even though it was flung together it was yummy! Proper comfort food - anyway, it did the trick, along with an hour long walk with the dog on a new route and a shorter 20 min walk in the evening, and I feel much more positive today.

    Todays food will be:
    B - mini tracker bar
L - buffet at work (but will try hard to be sensible)
D - meatless garlic kiev and low fat oven chips (maybe some beans too?)

Snacks - small banana and a small bunch of grapes

Will try to do at least an hour out and about after work weather permitting - even the dog hates the rain and refuses to go far when its really bad!

    Hi All

Scales say back to 62.9 today. Gah small step forward giant step back. Yesterday I had a small pain au chocolate and after the pub a kebab!

ugh small slip massive consequences. What does everyone else drink when they are out? I'm aware that pints may not be the best thing but wine is now sold in huge sizes and gets me much drunker much quicker and when I drink G&T's I can't trust my generous friends not to slip me doubles thinking they are doing me a favour.

I can't even say today is a clean fresh start because I've already had another pain au chocolate today too (tired and feeling rubbish). I need to go back to bed and stay there for some time.

Well done all the losers and I comiserate with everyone whose slipped a bit this week.

    Morning ladies :hello:

I'm starving today, don't know why  I've been ok so far, soaked oats, yoghurt and fruit for brekkie and just had a banana, I'll just keep drinking I think to see if that fills me up!
Lunch is salad with some new potatoes and I've got fruit but if this trend continues I might have to go for a jacket and beans from hte refectory........ :EasterBun bit more filling than rabbit food!

Tea will be decided when I get in, OH is working tonight so I can choose at leisure, lots of goodies in so I'll be fine.
Unfortunatly I have to bake tonight  I've had a request for my cranberry and white chocolate muffins at a meeting tomorrow  so need to do them tonight! I'd better eat a big tea before I start !

Well done to all the losers, hope you feel better soon MrsM, Frogga - olives are YUK!!

Waves to Saversarn  I'm in Manchester!!!

    See you later folks :A

    Morning ladies n gents :D

Still feeling a little "thick headed" (no comments thankyou :p )...but much better than the last few days :j thankyou for the PMs :D you know who you are ;)

Sounds like most of us are feeling a little yuk at the moment doesn't it  and having food battles....

last night i had a couple of yogs and an orange... not as little as it sounds as my yummy yog are about 150cals each..but worth every single one:D ... and i remembered to put my oats in to soak for this morning... and had them with some "apfel mousse" basically stewed apple ..i have a huge jar in the fridge.. for those days when im running low on fruit...so i can make sure i still get my 5 a day -a least..im sure im normally closer to 10 a day ;)
So i think i have just about let my system recover...
I know exactly what i did... hubby was golfing in competitions so was gone all day sat/sun..not getting in until the evening ..so i couldn't be bothered to make something "proper" for myself  .... i think most of us ladies do that don't we ...the question i s WHY  so i had more carbs as it was "easy" .... im not doing that again...bad bad me :o .... its not as if the bloomin house isn't packed with food..i was just bone idle.... but i have got off that slippery slope -as i know exactly where it will take me..right back to 21st

Anyway..i dragged my pathetic bum out of the house and walked for 1.5hrs..and whilst i was in the supermarket i saw a pair of black trousers..well they are denim -but not stiff like jeans.. and they are 3/4 length -which i like as im a short a*se..... and they were on sale at €5.99 - about £4.50 and the biggest size they had was a 44..an 18 to you and me ;) ... so i thought i would take them and who knows come the end of summer i would get them on... but when i got home i thought well i will try them on and i expect they will pull up my thighs (if im lucky)but not over my belly.... well blow me down if i can't get the !!!!!!s on and fastened up  ... ok they look like they are spray painted on :rotfl: but ON they are.. and its a fixed waist..no elastic :j .... i am in complete shock -i even whipped them of again an checked the inside lable as i was expecting them to have been tagged up wrong :rotfl: .... guess i was meant to go out today and to find them as im now fully recharged on the enthusiasm front :D

I also picked up some whoopsies... the vegetarian choice here is amazing and im slowly going off meat more n more..still love chicken but only little bits -anyway they do fresh "wok kits here" and i have never tried one.. well they had them reduced from €3.99 to €1 :D ....so i grabbed all 4..and when i have got them home you get a pouch with marinated strips of meat substitute, a bag of noodles and a pouch of sauce... they are all thai panang....now i love thai.. so i think they should do me nicely and each one is enough to serve 2 -especially as i will add mor veggies ;) ...When i took everything out of the box..all the items have best before dates on that are months away..so i gues just the box is out of date :rotfl:

    Meals for today....
    1. Brekkie-soaked oats with apples n sultanas and apfel mousse
    2. lunch -doing a salad ;)
    3. dinner -hubby is having bolognaise filled tortellini with arrabiata sauce... but i suddenly don't fancy it..so might bake a sweet potato instead:D
    4. snackies... fruit n yogs
Taplady.... i love beetroot too..but olives  .... far to oily n salty for me... mind i don't mind olive bread made with kalamata olives..my mum makes it lovely :D

Meanmarie.. looks like you had lots of company for you couple of iffy days... i think we were all at it:rotfl:
There isn't much i won't eat either... olives, whitebait, fennel, oh and now chocolate  ..but i think i can live without those few items...especially whitebait bleughhhhh

Cheerfulness.... im still trying to out wit the weather  ..mind hubby took me for mor troughs yesterday .. they had some slightly shorter than i got last time but only €1 each..so we grabbed 10... and i have put newspaper and some of those water retaining crystals in and let the rain make them swell-and hopefully later i can go and get the compost inand get some seeds in ;) need to get raddishes, watercress, spinach etc under way and loads of carrots -we grow loads and they don't often make it out of the garden... i stand out there eating em...gardeners perks and all that :p
On my windowsill at the side of me i have all my lettuces through and loads of spring onions..and upstairs loads of broccoli, turnips etc are peeping through :T not sure how they will all do in tubs..but we will see ;)

We will have no sabotaging (sp) yourself..you are doing brilliantly and smashing those usual stummbling blocks and danger areas...:T

well done on the losses folks :j we are doing rather well as a group :T

Jackie_W.. as long as you stick to one set of scales you should be fine... just decide where to use them and make sure they are always in the same spot... mine are the same..they are digital and i stand them right on one particular square -if im a fraction off in any direction they read differently.
You will still get a true reading of how much you have lost.... ok you may weigh more on someone elses scales but if you have lost 1st on yours you will still be 1st lighter :T

right i had better get off.... look at how much i have rambled :o
BiggmummaF.. haven't forgot those recipes..now im feeling beter i will get them done for you :D
Keep up the good work everyone,,,,
hello to everyone... has newlywed gone on her jollies or have i missed her posts?
have a great day everyone :D
