    Morning !

well done to MRSM again:T :T :T thats an amazing loss in total! you are well over half way to your target and get my vote for our slimmer of the year this year!:T

I had a very good day yesterday so am feeling pleased with myself.:A :D am determined to get back to just under 10 stone like I was a few weeks ago so I can say I'm 9 stone something.

    Foof plans for today

    2 weetabix

    banana

    jacket spud with cottage cheese

    yoghurt

veggie pizza, salad and a few SW chips

Good luck to anyone else weighing in today!

edited to say - MRSM I've never baked a sweet spud before - how long do they take and are they nice?
    Do what you love :happyhear

    Thankyou taplady :D

ooooh to be able to say "I'm 9 stone something" :T haven't been able to say that since i was about 10 :o .... im getting excited at being able to say im " 14st something" :rotfl: only 3.5lbs to go ;) ...when i get to say im "9st something" im going to have a badge made -the size of a dustbin lid :D

Baked sweet potato is lovely....it goes all soft n squishy... they only take a little less time than normal jackets... You need to sit it on a tray though... normal jackets i whack straight on the shelf but sweet ones leak syrupy stuff where you have stabbed them ;)

Because they are so rich and sweet i am satisfied with a much smaller one than a proper potato... and i like something quite salty like feta with it to balance the sweetness... mind a squidge of balsamic is nice too :p
I have 3 bags to use...so i can see me eating them for quite a few days to come...shame :D

Well i have allready been out on the garden filling tubs and planting out some tomato plants i have grown -they are called sub arctic and don't need warmth :T ..have loads more to get out but im having a battle of wits with the weather..i know its just waiting until all my tender stuff goes out and then we will get snow:rolleyes:
I know others on here are growing veggies....don't know if anyone else knows this -so i will share -just i case :D
when you plant up your tomatoes.... sink the stem so that the 1st pair of true leaves are just above the soil.... tomatoes grow extra roots from the stem when its under ground.... they take water from the bottom roots but feed from the side roots ;) ..it also makes them less "leggy" and prone to snapping in the wind :D ..i really should get out more :rotfl:

have a good day everyone..hubby has been sent golfing ;) so i can get on the PC to check everyones updates :T

Hi all, and congrats on splendid losses.

Very pleased to report that this morning the scales read 9 stone 2lbs, and I've reached my target! :j I could still do with toning up around my hips, but my trousers are all amusingly flappy and I have to wear a belt with everything.

Mr Cupier is also motoring along splendidly and has lost another 4.25lbs, putting himself ahead of his target for the week.

Easter hols for the next two weeks, so things might be a bit more tricky, but plans for today are:

    B - cereal with fruit
L - ham salad sandwich, orange
D - HM moussaska with yoghurt not cheese sauce
    Snacks - yoghurt, fruit

Best of luck to everyone else weighing in today.

  • Well done MRSM that is a great weight loss so far and shows that it can be done.

I have a good bit to go so nice to know if you stick at it, it pays off.
I don't weigh in until Sunday but feel as though i have lost something this week.

I started drinking lots of water yesterday and spent alot of the day in the bathroom, hoping it will get better as my body gets used to it.
I must have drunk about 6 pints which is an awful lot of me as i usually never drink water at all.

Only exercise i got was playing wii sports for 2 hours as i can't get out as i have two sick children at home.

Breakfast- Cup of tea with sugar and 1 slice wholemeal toast with a cheese triangle
    Lunch- Tomato soup and roll
Dinner- Homemade fish cakes , potato wedges and mixed veg
    Snacks- fruit and yoghurt
I would like to be able to admire a man’s opinions as I would his dog - without being expected to take it home with me."

Morning all, well done to all the fabulous losers :D

Feeling better this morning. Although stomach still not 100%.

Breakfast was a few rich tea biscuits - thought porridge might be a little too much :o

Lunch will be wraps with olive and sun dried tomato hummous, ham and rocket.

Tea will be gammon steaks with pineapple rings

Snacks are an apple, a banana, a navel orange... and a pack of baked crisps :o Not sure if I'll eat half of that but saves the sugar crave.

Will be off to Aldi later for some bits but may cheat and take the car depending on how strong I'm feeling (yesterday's walk was a bit too much and I struggled to get back :o)

    Morning everyone

Not a bad day at all yesterday - stuck to the food plan and had no extras at all.
In fact my after-work dog walk turned into a mammoth session as about half way round I was approached by a little old lady who was clearly lost (I think she had some kind of dementia) and quite upset. Ended up walking her around until she recognised somewhere and then took her home.
Bless her, she gave me her handbag and even tried to pay me - anything could have happened to her with the world we live in today. Anyway, alls well that ends well, eventually found her house, got her in and settled and fetched a neighbour who knew her family and contacted them. All this took about and hour and a half - poor pooch was bewildered by the whole thing but thoroughly enjoyed his extended wander about.

    Today I have...

    B - mini tracker bar
L - Tuna sandwich, orange and grapes
D - not sure yet but will either be breaded fish and <5% fat chips or lasagne and salad (have salad to use up but may leave it until tmw)
    S - low fat crisps

    Have a good day!

I must confess, I did have a small slice of chocolate cake yesterday for someone's Birthday - a thumb sized piece of Dalek cake. Was delicious, but over sickly. Other than that, was sensible. HM spag bol w/ wholemeal pasta. No garlic bread or anything.

Weigh day today, and for the third week running i've not lost a single ounce :( Not fed up about it, really, as I look like i've lost weight - but I do wish the scales would be kinder to me! At least i've not put any on, I suppose. Had better reduce cals and up exercise a lot more, huh.

    Today:
    B: 2 x wholemeal toast w/ lime marmalade
    S: pear
    L: leftover spag bol, orange
D: Quorn Burgers (2), salad, brown roll

    xx
