Morning all!
Not got a menu yet for today but so far I've had my muesli for breakfast.
I won the raffle last night at SW:j which was a recipe and ingredients for Vegetable Chilli Skins which is basically potato skins, sweetcorn, peppers and chilli beans with red onion and some cheese. The leader couldn't get chilli beans so got curried beans which might make it interesting! am going to try it later for tea I think.
Hope you all have a good day!Do what you love :happyhear0 -
Hi,
Was quite good yesterday - stuck to the food plan apart from 1 little biscuit.:o
Today I'll be having........
Breakfast - mini Tracker bar
Lunch - cheese and pickle sandwich, grapes, satsumas
Dinner - Quorn pie and potato croquettes (may be peas too?)
Snack - low fat crisps
Will do an hour or so dog walking too.
Good luck!0 -
Morning folks:hello:
I had a day off work yesterday to help OH build a greenhouse on the allotment :doh:
Not the best idea I've ever had :wall: Still, the frame is now up and we just have to glaze itFun!!
I ate hardly anything through the day then we went out for tea last nightWe went to the local Harvester but we won't be going there again! I ordered stuffed butternut squash.......I've seen bigger apples, it was supposed to be served with corn on the cob........'Sorry we have none' so I got a salad :mad: which was lettuce, onion and 2 slices of tomato :mad: Oh's steak was ok othere than the small portion and the oven chips.
We ordered pud..............I chose ice cream with honeycomb and toffee sauce...............
IT WAS HUGE:eek: I managed about 1/3 of it and OH ate the rest but I was disappointed in the meal and the fact that I had a pud that was humungous:o
1st SW weigh in tonight as well :eek:
Today I've had soaked oats with yoghurt and berries, I've got lentil salad for lunch and have got fruit with me.
Tea will be decided when I get in as I only have myself to see to tonigh but might feature portabello mushrooms......:think:
Well done to all the losers, welcome newbies and returners :wave:
Thanks for the recipes MrsM!
Glad you liked the curry rice thing RS, I can't take the credit for it though, it was a girl at an SW meeting years ago who'invented' it when ther cupboard was bare.
See you later folks after my WI :eek:0 -
Morning all.
Well didn't get to try any of those yummy recipes from Mrsm last night. Had upset stomach and was being ill all evening - not even a rich tea biscuit would stay down! So no tea for me. Couldn't face cooking and struggled to even empty the slow cooker (into freezer tub) after OH had his tea.
Breakfast was 2 rich tea biscuits.
Snacks have been a pack of baked low fat crisps.
Lunch is - not much probably.
Tea is gammon steak - or ham omelette as I kind of fancy that more at the minute.
Still the scales said 9st 11 this morning - but no doubt that will change when I eat somethingworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Morning all, hope you're all doing well.
Anyone else crave fatty things? Last night I could have eaten my body weight in cheese or butter, it was really odd. Anyway i resisted and had lovely healthy dinner (steamed veg and farm shop sausage, yum.)
B = porridge
L = HM parsnip soup
S = apple and banana
D = no idea, on my own again so could end up being anything, not got anything planned. Trying to use store cupboard stuff this month, I have huge stock piles of things that could see me through for ages but not sleeping at the moment so haven't got the inclination to do much of anything really.

Hello everyone
I've had a disaster. I weighed myself this morning and I'm 63.8kilos (put on 0.3kilos from my start weight as well as the 0.2 kilos I thought I'd lost. I hope this is an aberration because of my period because I've been very good mostly for the last week. Yesterday I did have a Pret choc bar that my BF bought me (he doesn't believe in watching ones weight unhelpfully) and I couldn't say no they are my absolute favourites but I was pretty active yesterday and that was the only thing I ate extra to sensible sized meals I'm pretty sure).
How truly depressing
Newlywed don't forget peoples height makes a difference as well a foot of extra height can be some of the weight of a person so a shortish 10st person will look more overweight than a tall 10st person as unfair as it is.
When I am a proper size 10 (not the bursting out of ones clothes depressingly type) I am about 9 and a bit stone and I'm 5ft7. At the moment I'd say I'm a 12 (nearly 10st) though in true Vanessa Feltz stylee I'm currently wearing a pair of cords that are certainly a very generous 10. My office probably think I don't have any other clothes at the moment I appear in these so often. I need to shift some weight fast or I'll have to admit defeat and buy some bigger clothes.
