    Afternoon all,

Thanks for the kind messages...am feeling a little better to-day and have so far only had two smallish hm rolls with butter, one hobnob and coffee...that was around 10 so am going to get going on dinner soon...we are having risotto with chicken, veg and bacon...OH doesn't fancy meals like that so he will have steak...some rice and veg.

Nix...you could have been writing about how I feel at the moment....going to Australia for six weeks end of May so need to do something soon...need to buy some underwear and shoes and want them smaller than current sizes...would be very happy with a stone off which is not really a huge expectation if I get my a*s in gear!

    Thanks again for encouragement

    Hello ladies :hello:
    Welcome newbies :T and a
    :j :j :j HUGE WELL DONE TO THE LOSERS:j :j :j

This is supposed to be a 'quickie' before OH takes our 'puter to bits to test one he's made for one of his mates  so I've not been able to read all the posts.

I was good last night and have been ok today, eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes on toast for brekkie, jacket and beans for lunch and a couple of bananas this afternoon.
Tea will be sweet potato balti a la MrsM with rice. I'm having a biggish tea as we're going to a birthday party tonight - one of OH's ex clients, neither of us want to go but feel we have to put in an appearance IYKWIM.:undecided I will have a couple of drinks but hope to stay away from any buffet.

I've been and had my hair cut and coloured this afternoon, I can't remember the last time I was going out when I'd had my hair done and my hairdresser usually does it really nicely....typically today he was really busy and asked one of the girls to finish me off  and then it was lashing down when I came out  I might have to wash it and blow it again before I go out
Right I've been chucked off, see you tomorrow folks :A

Taplady - happy anniversary for yesterday. :D What a scrumpcious way to celebrate it too. Love b & b pudding and what a good idea to add the d cream. Ummmmm. DH and I had a nice dinner in when we celebrated our 20th earlier this year and it was one of the best so far. :D

Hope you have a good evening out Rockie, and what a swine it raining on your new hairdo. Isn't that just typical?

Rose wood - it looks idealic there, you lucky thing. I am so looking forward to spending some time by the coast this summer.

Recovering - hope you get better soon. Get yourself tucked up with a good book and spoil yourself until your up to par...the kids will manage. :p Oh and nearly finished my first 'little lady' book and waiting impatiently for the library to get me my next 'apple' one. :D

Have had a lovely day and all the nicer for reading the lovely things you've said in your posts about my loss this am. Feeling so invigorated to keep pushing towards the '18sts' now. :j

MrsMc - Have just cooked the lads your pasta bake with pepperami and passata sauce. Judging by the chomping noises behind me its a hit! :T It tasted lovely...well I had a spoonful to check the seasoning. ;)
Not usually a fan of tomato based sauces but that was nice.

Right, away for another bath soon as I've walked my legs off hunting for bargains today. Spent practically nothing too but got a lot. :D

Will catch up with you all later. ;)

Hya Folks...I haven't been on here since Tuesday, and have taken most of the afternoon to catch up with this and the GC thread...aaargh!

Well done all the losers...I have actually lost too this week....3 pounds!!!!

Not sure how I managed it...what with Easter, too little sleep, and a day trip to Cambridge yesterday in the rain, and lunch out...don't plan on repeating it this week...must get back to sensible eating and sleeping patterns...this is my last week of PTLLS (teacher training) course...yippee! Still have a lot of writing up to do...but wanted to catch up with this today.

Writing lots of menu plans and fridge contents has helped...will write up another 2 weeks'-worth tonight or tomorrow and so will do a minimal Mr M shop tomorrow.

Now must get the fish cooked for tea (Salmon 1/3 off @ Mr Ms, so got a whole fish, for less than £10. This gave 12 decent steaks, plus a good sized tail piece...yummmmy! DS2 is having mackerel as he doesn't like salmon, still, good for him!

Enjoy what remains of this soggy weekend!

Hi all. Didn't manage to get on here yesterday for weigh in day, but *drum roll please* very please to report that my truly wonderful DH has now shifted a whole stone in 29 days. This means he's two fifth of the way towards his target. We are all delighted.

Mind you, I've stayed static this week - suspect the lemon meringue pie and in-laws to stay and 6 five year olds at a very noisy party may well be something to do with that.

Hoping to get back on top of things this week - plenty of soup and salad, low fat dinners etc. The only problem is how to square that with homemade bread and apple and blackberry jam. Ideas on a postcard please....

Hope everyone has a good week.

Well today I ate 'heavier' foods than usual but only had 2 meals so its not so bad.
I got up late so missed out breakfast and had lunch late.

L: Oven baked wholemeal baguette with quorn meatballs in home-made marinara sauce in it.
D: Pasta with red pesto, teaspoon of grated parmesan and lots of black pepper

Hope you all have a good weekend, tomorrow I think I will do mexican :D

Well done everyone. You are all doing brilliantly. Sadly I do not have anything as good to report. I got back from a weeklong wedding shindig yesterday it was absolutely lovely but I ate and drank rather more than I intended. I haven't dared weigh myself since my return but I expect things not to be pretty as I feel pretty fat and my jeans are unpleasantly tight. On the plus side I've been quite good today and even better I haven't felt excessively hungry. If only that continues. Will report once I've dared weigh myself (tomorrow).
