Good morning,
1lb off for me this morning, only 7 to go for the BH challenge. I think I'm back on track now.
B : bacon sandwich
L : banana and honey sandwich
D : HM made quiche with HM chips (done the SW way) and salad.
Hello to all the people joining and good luck with your weight loss.0 -
Big welcome to littlel and helend
Glad you decided to join in the BH challenge.
Well done MRSMC - another 1 1/2 lbs, you're doing so brilliantly..its all very exciting watching. :j
I'm looking forward to getting my 'face the music' weigh in done tomorrow after my turkey incident  but I already feel like I've started afresh this week so I've steeled myself for the scales tomorrow. Who knows..may have lost. :rotfl: :rotfl: I think not...taplady is right, it is low fat but not so much when you're scrapping the bottom of the roasting tin to get the dark, crunchy greasy bits off the bottom that taste fantastic. I'm am totally disgusting sometimes.
Food today:
Not sure about brekkies yet as not hungry.
Blue cheese and pear salad :j Been dying to try this.
Chicken curry with egg noodles.
Have to say I don't fancy the curry, not a great fan, but others insisting on it. I'm wondering if I should upgrade my lunch to a dinner by adding a jacket or some steamed potatoes.
Then that would leave me free to have something scrummy from the seafood bar at Morrisons for my tea. :j I love shellfish so I could have mussels or a mixed thingy. I wouldn't need to feel guilty over the price because they're having their favourite. Oohh all excited now. And I can afford it cos I get my April GC money today.
One thing I know... will be adding a piece of fresh salmon to my shopping list.. I've been drooling over the idea every since newlywed and now taplady mentioned it. Am I the only one that gets these really strong cravings for one or two foods that change each month?
Ohh OH and DS1 just walked in. Roads blocked and they've been sent home as can't get into work. :j
Cranky -post crossed but wanted to say WELL DONE for the loss and for getting back on track.AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250

Morning - mind if I join you too?? Am 5ft 7 - currently 13 stone something, can't bear to find out, and have muchos baby belly to lose. Have tried SW and WW but would rather do it myself but be sensible - although wine is my biggest downfall!
Might have to start tomorrow as already had toast, baked beans, hash brown and half a rasher of bacon for breakfast :)O<

Nope - I often get food cravings - sometimes for fish pie, boiled gammon, roast chicken, yorkies - and no medical reason for the craving either - thankfullyThe last one was for sage and onion stuffing
At least it doesn't break the budget
If I'm going to add stuff to the salmon rather than have it steamed or microwaved on it's own then I get Sainsbugs basics salmon or else Aldi and Lidl do frozen salmon pieces which are about £2.20 for two bits. They are all quite nice and so I add them into the meal plans each month.
The sesame salmon I posted will certainly reappear in April's menu list - unless Lidl have frozen tuna steaks back in stock
Anyway - morning all, welcome all newbies, well done to everyone losing weight.
I seem to be successfully maintaining my loss so far - but now thinking of losing a little bit more so may have to step up the walking and reduce the snacks
Food today has been toast and choc spread (well I was bored of porridge and wanted a change).
Lunch is leftover sausage casserole from the freezer (it was that or sicky looking soup).
Tea will be smoke salmon (value trimmings of course) omelette.
Snacks are an apple, and whatever cries out to me in Aldi laterworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Oh yeah... and the only reason I resisted the fish and chip shop yesterday (we live round the corner and could smell it as we came home) - was coz OH said no he didn't want chips, they're unhealthy and we are meant to be on diets
Will get oven chips today in Aldi thoughworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Hi Ladies and Gents,

Welcome to all the new ladies and well done to all the losers, Cheerfulness you do seem to crave really healthy stuff- I'm more a bottle of red and a choccy bar kind of gal:o Mrsm- glad your backs feeling better.

Hello everybody I'm going to try and join in as well - although the £1 easter eggs in asda have been demolished rather speedily (way ahead of you there Martin
). As I am still getting over a cold (go on holiday to egypt, get a cold - lovely....). Breakfsat - fruit (probably tinned pineapple); lunch - cheese salad with jacket (the cheese needs using alright !!) and dinner will probably be a pasta dish with the remains of the salad. I promise I will try...
But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green0 -
Hello! Had a Jack Daniels and diet coke with OH in pub on way home last night, Quorn burger in a brown roll, wedges and salad. Fancied something sweet and OH disappeared off to the kitchen and came back with a bowl of chocolate (sugar free) Angel Delight with a Kinder Hippo floating in. He declared it a 'hippo in a mudbath' - was delicious. Naughty but lovely!
Today:
B: Malties cereal, semi skimmed, juice, grapes
L: noodles, vegHM pizza (probably veg or ham) xx
