    Hi All

Good luck to all those weighing in. Well done Mrs M and Mrs C and welcome all new members of our little group.

I am feeling VERY pleased as the new stricter regime seems to be working. I got weighed on the new scales this morning and only weighed 11 stone (70kg) which is 7lbs lighter than the last time I got weighed!!! Hurray. I have decided to try and aim for a kg per week from now until May which would bring me down to 65kg (10 stone 3lbs). Optimistic I know but now I have started being stricter I am being hopeful. It's still more than I originally hoped for this date (see signature) but haven't lost that much yet since January. We get back to the UK on April 26 so can go back to weighing in st and lbs then.

Now to go and weigh out my cereal with my new kitchen scales.

B: Muesli mixed with fruit and fibre and raisins and skimmed milk. Pineapple juice.
L: Last of the HM carrot soup. Small piece of home baked baguette. Orange.
D: Prawn omelette. Another orange (have run out of fruit and all shops are shut over here in Spain.)

Hi all I would love to jump in and join you all on the next challenge. I'm not sure what I weigh as I threw my scales away 3 years ago when they said 22 stone :( . My weight fluctuates as my clothes size have varied. I will try and purchase a new set of HGV weighing scales this weekend and let you all know what they say. I will challenge myself to lose 1 stone (14lbs) by the May bank holiday.
Good Luck to everyone who is taking part!

    happy good friday everyone!

Cheerfulness4 - i admit i was worried about how the hosp were with me.
i was the last in 4 to go for the op and everyone else was helped get their clothes back on and helped to the waiting area by the nurses, (ie they carried your bags as we had all had our right hand done) to wait for whoever was picking you up etc. when i came down from op, everyone else had gone, they gave me a cup of tea, phoned DH, gave me discharge papers then left me to it. after 30 mins of not seeing anyone i grabbed my stuff and went off to find waiting room, which took me ages to find!!!! loads of nurses and staff saw me struggling with my stuff and no one helped! thankfully DH was in room when i eventually found it! i have had a few ops and it was my worst experience ever. thanks to everyone for your kind words though :D

Hand is still really painful but hopefully it will ease off sooner rather than later, thankfully i aint too bad with my left hand so i can still pop on here :D

    anyhow....

Frogga - thats fab about the 15lbs! whats your secret??

MrsM - hope your back feels better soon.

    thanks

i got on scale this morn and had put on 5 lbs since monday! im hoping its the painkillers as i still cant eat much so im lost as to whats happening!!

breakfast today was toast and tea (made by DH - could get used to this!!)

lunch, hard boiled egg sandwich i think (made by my mum!)

tea, not sure, whatever i can persuade me lovely mum to cook me!! prob fish fingers and mushy peas or something i can eat one handed!!:rotfl:

    good luck for today everyone
    TTFN
    xx

    Morning Taplady

No more photos yet... but its strange as i was thinking of asking hubby to do another 1 when i get 3lbs more off as i was 16st 3 when hubby took last pic so there will be 1st difference... in fact i think i will get a pic taken every 1st lower i get  ...
I can't quite believe that i only need to shift another 4st 11lbs to be a "normal" weight :j .. I know thats a lot to a lot of people.. but it doesn't seem that bad to me:confused: ..and 1 more lb off and i can change my bmi to 35 :D
Can you put pics in PMs???? if so i will send you the original 2 pics (hope you have a strong constitution :rotfl: -mind stick them on the fridge and that will keep everyone out of it :p ) I have shared.....well SCARED a couple of folks on here with them via e-mail... i will post them on the thread when im done..... but will have to remove my head 1st :rotfl:

Hubby is great bless him... doesn't care what i weigh..as long as im happy n healthy -well he is too nice to say different even if he thinks it:p ... mind he has noticed that i now say how much i weigh.. before i never did ;) and he has noticed that im more confident and happy in myself..plus im looking after myself more now too.... lots of pampering -well it keeps my head out of the freezer :rotfl:
I have noticed though that he has started commenting on women on TV... about how they are too thin, boney, gaunt etc ... but he has been warned that i am NOT stopping until im within my healthy weight range -and if he says im too thin then i will kick him :rotfl: ......I know that if i don't get to the "healthy weight range" i will still think of myself as overweight and then i think the odd lb here and there would go un-noticed and it would be far to easy to plonk weight back on again..and im NOT having that..this time im in it to the bitter end and then im staying there ;)

well done on the losses folks :T ..holding my breath for the morning for you cheerfulness ;) ..you will be fine :j

Hello and welcome Valjk...sure you will get loads of help n support on here... everyone on here is really lovely and helpfull....

Nice new targets for everyone to aim for.....have a great weekend everyone.. and keep up the great work :T

MRSM - your hubby sounds lovely bless him, mine is great too, he just loves my new trim figure! a couple of people have said to me not to lose any more and I sometimes wonder if its jealousy, I'm not exactly a size zero just yet!I'm happy as I am and just want to stay there but it is hard trying to maintain and also I find it hard not having anything to aim for now. I'd love to see your pics if you can PM them -

pebbles - your hospital visit sounded dreadful - hope you are ok now x

Off into town now - walking! - to get my hair cut.

    back later x

    Hi all,

I could cry...no loss again this week, but no gain either so I suppose it could have been worse...I have been much better this week than others so felt that there might have been a slight reduction.

    To-day's menu is:

    B. 1 egg veg omelette, 3 slices buttered toast (yeah, I know!), 6 dates, one apple, coffee...most of this was at around 12.00 so included lunch as well.

Dinner will be fish, homemade wedges, greens with oyster sauce and hot cross bun for pudding...if I get round to making them have just noticed time.

Think that I congratulated Frogga on the wonderful loss...but just in case...good on you!

Mrs MC you are really the most consistent person around....has there been a week you didn't lose??

Off to see about HCB mixture, not much time left

    Have a lovely Easter everybody

Hello folks :hello: Hello newbies
    Well done losers :j

I was up and decorating at 7.30 this morning  OH's early starts do have some advantages!
Kitchen repairs are now complete, not the best job I've ever done but a huge improvement on how it was before. I've had a 2 hour (walking) round trip to Ikea and got some more bits for my lounge so downstairs is looking pretty nice now :D I'm still putting off the mammoth jobs I've got to do upstairs though

Food today has been - 2 slices toast first thing (needed some food in me to take painkillers) Then when OH came home after his first visit we had poached eggs, toast and mushrooms.
After my walk I had salad, hummus and a slice of multiseed bread.
Teat tonight will be some sort of veggie burger (yet to be created) with rice and sugarsnap peas and maybe a little pud, I fancy trying Jamie O's hotXbun and custard bake :o Well, it is Easter,
OH is working all weekend and won't be home at all on Sunday

I can't remember what I said for the Easter challenge, I know I've failed though:laugh:
I would like to be 11 stone by May Day.
    See you later folks :A

    Hi there,

Been absent from this thread for a couple of days, and its not because ive been bad, ive just been busy. Ive just managed to keep up with the GC thread.

Anyway, still feeling positive. Wednesday and Thursday I was really really good. I HAD NO CHOCOLATE:A :j :A :j .

I have had chocolate since but, im not going to let it get to me. Yesterday, I decided I was going to treat myself, so I went clothes shopping, something which I havent done in ages, and it felt really good, so, Im still happy.

Every now and then ive been getting a wee bit down about things (especially about all this stuff with the banks, DH's business account is with HBOS, im a bit worried), but, then again, I worry about everything. If Im not worried about something, I worry why im not worried about something:confused: .

Anyway, ive not had very much to eat today at all, cos, im not feeling too good. Yesterday I hurt my neck, and its even worse today. Its was so bad this morning, that it was actually making me feel sick. Took some reallystrong painkillers, and the pain is a bit better, so, Im going to try to eat some toast.
Hoping its better for tonight, we are taking DS to bowling tonight, and to an italians for something to eat, he got a really good report from school at parents night, and we were so proud of him, so we are going to treat him. We are trying to make as big a deal of it as possible, because, hes a bit behind in his work and needs help with a specialist support teacher, and we send him to a tutor too.

Anyway, im off to try and catch up with the posts.

Well done to anyone who has lost (cant mention anyone cos ive not read the posts), and chin up to those who are struggling.

    Jackie xx

Well I'm ready (for losing weight)
    but it has been steady
    rather than going!!! :rolleyes::rolleyes:

Have had rough two weeks health wise (in bed mostly with M.E. and persistent cough).
However should be pleased that weight has steadied even with no exercise. Means that along with other no losers, we are maintaining calories in and calories out.
That is better than it going on...;);)
