    Hi guys,

Good luck to all those weighing in!

I think it was decided that May Bank Holiday was the date for the next challenge - how much weight to lose in that time? Is it 7lb again?

Feel tired today, was up till 1.30am yesterday trying to earn some dosh (I work for AQA). Am at my part time job today so can't fit my walk in, was going to try and get up early and do it but was just too tired. Will be on my feet all afternoon so hopefully that will burn up something :p .

Well even if I'm low on the excercise today am having quite a low cal day - not necessarily on purpose, simply a case of convenience.

    B. - shredded wheat & semi skimmed

    L. - apple & mullerlite

    D. - packet meal, healthy options chicken curry & rice (sister is making dinner today & I don't like it which is why I'm having an non-OS dinner!)

Snacks - fruit, might treat myself to a bit of choc

Have a great day everyone, wish me luck as my OH is phoning up about a job today. He has been unemployed for 2 years and 99% of jobs don't even bother to reply. I applied for a job for him last week & they've emailed asking him to ring :j . Seriously crossing fingers here!
    Total debt £21,000

Hello everyone and good luck with WI toni and any other weighers today.

I got through yesterday and stuck to my eating plan, so that was good. This morning I have had wholegrain crackerbread with cottage cheese for breakfast and I have just returned from the supermarket. I went to get dog food and REALLY felt like buying all kinds of carp but stuck with it and only bought the dogfood and a couple of sachets of chocolate options (coconut - I've not seen that flavour before).

I have a chicken in the oven at the moment so will have that for dinner tonight with HM wedges and HM coleslaw, and lunch will be a cup of soup and a tuna salad pitta.

Still no sign of TOTM and my bust is really sore and I feel mega bloated and heavy. I think I am starting the menopause - how nice:rolleyes:

DD1 is still away - I took her up to the University yesterday - she had to be there for 3.30 and at 3.20 she was still getting ready, telling me to chill.... Anyway we set off just after 3.20 and she announces that we have to swing by her bf's to pick up her make up as she left it there at the weekend - so, after a 3 mile detour we got there at 4pm, which was a minor miracle thanks to the roads being unusually clear. Then I am just driving home down our road and she texts me to say she forgot her purse and so has no money:mad: - can I just pop back (15 miles) up and give it to her. I was so angry that I phoned her Dad and he took it up to her. Then she rings last night and says that she is never going to live in halls of residence (where she is staying for this A level revision week) as they are "skanky" and you have to share a bathroom with 5 other people so she will be living at home for her 5 year course:eek: no wonder I comfort eat!

Planned snacks today are chocolate options drink, a pear and mullerlite yoghurt (bought 10 for £2 in Morrisons and they have to be used up).

Bobbadog - I HATE doing that with hot food - hope it eases up today - painkillers will help if you can take them.

    Helllo Jane

I have dd at the same stage as yours, but she's taking a gap year next year. She's planning to go to Sweden and Mexico, but no doubt will still manage to wreak some sort of havoc with our lives, even if she's thousands of miles away. At least while she is in Sweden she will be living with friends of mine, so sort of in loco parentis I guess, even though she will be 18 by then.

I had a vision of loveliness in pink pjs sunday morning at 10.10, informed she had to be on the train at 10.26... usual story, no cash etc!

I won't miss the driving round, that's for sure!

Heck and I thought boys were bad! I'll quit moaning that he forgets to scrape his plate in the bin and think myself lucky that he has his own car and money in the bank to pay for his petrol. Can't swap clothes with lads, tho...hmmm thinking about it, I did nick off with his jacket when I swept the greenhouse out yesterday. (couldn't stand getting cobwebs on mine :p )

    Hi All,

Had a busy morning shopping today which makes a change. Even better, it was with someone else's money. The landlord of the apartment we are in has given us a set amount to revamp his kitchen. We've had all the big work done so went shopping for bits and pieces such as a utensil hanging rack, various kitchen tools etc. Got most of what we want but still need tea and coffee jars and oven gloves. We saw some really nice jars but being Spanish they didn't have one for tea so we had to give them a miss. OH also bought himself a coffee maker which looks very smart.

We have just had lunch and now are going to lie in the sun with a book for a couple of hours and then walk up to friends to borrow a drill.

Chloebelle, I work for AQA too as I can do it out here in Spain. Not that I have done much for the past couple of months as work has been a bit hard to come by.

    B: Usual muesli etc.
L: HM carrot soup with piece of freshly baked bread. Raspberry yoghurt.
D: Chicken breast, chips, peas and mushrooms. Orange

I got weighed on a Spanish set of scales which were in the supermarket and think I may have lost one or two pounds but will wait till I can weigh in stones and lbs to be sure. I have decided to be a bit stricter as the weight hasn't been coming off. I looked on a website and put in my details and it suggested I try to stick to 1400 calories a day and get 300 calories worth of exercise to lose 2lbs a week, so that is what I am trying to do. I've been estimating as I haven't got kitchen scales or a calorie book but have been sticking to 1400 as far as I am able since Sunday.

  • Hello all! Just popping in with the result of yesterday's weigh in, not that it was much of a result.....stayed the same, not even one single ounce off!!!!
Bit disappointed to be honest because apart from the meal out on Saturday I thought I'd been good all week - obviously not good enough!:o

Had a little choccy splurge yesterday to cheer myself up but today I'm back on the wagon so hopefully it will be better news next week.

Well done to all those who've lost, keep it up ladies!:T
