Welcome... Proliant (nice to have some testosterone joining the thread!)

    Oooh... tart...:rotfl:

 *runs off to get dressed and put some slap on..*;)

I've been well (ish) behaved today..

I only had time for 2 cuppas and half a slice of toast this morning.
Lunch I had 2 slices of brown (YAKYAKYAK) bread with prawn mayo.. and a hot chocolate.. it fulfils my chocolate craving!
Dinner tonight is new potatoes and chickens bits I think.. though that is open to persuasion as I think I am out at 5:30 collecting which means I cook for everyone else.. stick a brush up my bum and walk out the door with a pocket full of fruit and everyone else eating a nice hot home cooked meal... and get home at 8:30 (sometimes via the chinese takeaway which I am trying to avoid!!)

    Afternoon all

Here I am Saversarn  ... better late than never....
I epilated my legs at the weekend.... note to self.... don't leave so long inbetween in future  ....i must keep giving them a going over every week... much less pain:p

Got up and had a 2hr walk round the shops this morning...picking up a few nice bits n bobs... organic feta, greek yog etc.. not sure where the rest of the day has gone  ... its been one of those strange days where i just feel really lethargic :o ....
    • Brekkie -jelly with fruit
    • lunch -southern style quorn burger with hm coleslaw
    • dinner -having the other half of the meatballs from last night -have made some pasta dough -using semolina flour this time(lets see how it comes out:p ) and will make a creamy tomato sauce with mushrooms, peppers, onions n peas in
The tortillas n meatballs were yummy last night..i stuffed a little piece of basil mozzarella into the middle of them nomnomnom :rotfl:.. I can only manage 1 now... so hubby ate his 2 and my second one... even though he had eaten enough and wasn't hungry(too nice to leave apparently:rolleyes: ) next time im going to shove it in the fridge and have it for my lunch the day after ;)

Had a tootle around the garden centre... have eyed up the strawberry plants... not bad at all as they are really bush healthy ones..and work out about 40p each... in packs of 10.. so i think im going to have a pack of each variety ...i think i saw 5 kinds ..they might just keep me going through summer.... i adore strawberries nomnomnom.. I have some bags that hang up that i can put some in... let the bl**dy slugs get em up there :rotfl:
also got some more tomatoes..i have an obsession with tomato seeds :p have 9 varieties now i think :o .. these ones are little cherry toms on a little bushy plant.... must get more stuff started off.... if it will stop snowing and hail stoning

Its nice to see more folks joining the campaign :j hello and welcome to everyone

Keeping my piggies crossed for a loss of 1.5lbs this week to hit my Good friday target.... Have decided that my next target..is it may bank holiday.... is going to be 7.5lbs (assuming i get that 1.5lb off this week).... as that will take me to being a 14st something person..well 14st 13.5lbs :rotfl:

Well done on the losses :T
Toniwoty -you will knock that bit back off again in no time..don't panic..you have plenty of time to get some weight off for you dress fitting :D

Cheerfulness.. I would have taken your approach -"bull in a china shop"..get in, get warm and deal with the mess later :rotfl: good job we have calm, reasonable hubbies isn't it :p

right i had better get off and get that pasta rolled out and cut so it can dry for a while...

Have a great afternoon all..hello to anyone not mentioned :D

    Where is Mrs MC...???

Woke late, just had banana and small buttered roll as had a 10am appointment. Came home and had a chicken salad wrap and then at 1.30 had fried egg, bacon and a bit of potato, followed by slice of chocolate cake and eight Roses....really need to get myself sorted for rest of day...couple pints water might help.

Roast lamb for dinner, but there is a chick pea/tomatoey stew type thing on cooker at present, might have that instead

    Hi All

It's been an odd sort of day. We got woken up earlier than normal with an unexpected ring at the door bell and we seem to have been not quite 'with it' most of the day. We had a trip up the road to return some tools we had borrowed before breakfast - in the car as tools were needed. However, I walked home whilst OH drove (and even tried to jog a bit). So that was 1,000 steps before breakfast. After breakfast we had a walk as the forecast was for rain later (correctly as it is just starting). That was another 5,600 steps. I've also decided to stop being too energy efficient and so we didn't take the rubbish with us as we usual do. I've just been now so that's another 400 steps, making 8,000 in total for today, plus normal walking around the apartment of course.

I've been struggling with my computer since our walk but finally OH did a system restore to yesterday and everything seems back to normal. He is now coming down with a migraine so not his usual self.

B: Usual muesli, fruit juice etc.
L: HM carrot soup with piece of freshly baked baguette from the local shop. Raspberry yoghurt
D: Tagliatelle with mushrooms, cheese and garlic. Banana
    Snacks: Orange

    Hi guys,

Haven't felt 100% today, thinks its a combination of things. Have been very stressed over uni stuff and had an important meeting today that I was worried about. Also had a horrible nose bleed yesterday - first time I've ever had one and it was so sudden it left me a bit shakey. My face is still feeling a bit sore and delicate. Plus I've been putting in lots of late hours on AQA so am very tired. I'm working the next 2 days but am planning to take it a bit easy over the easter weekend.

Did my walk, more of a walk than my usual brisk power walk because of aforementioned reasons. But I got my bum moving so thats the main thing!!

    Food today:

    B. - shredded wheat & semi skimmed

    L. - chicken roll + half thickly buttered roll

    D. - HM chicken curry

Hope everyone has a great day, speak to you all tomorrow
    Total debt £21,000

This was a tip that I picked up many years ago and I still believe it to be true. Read number 8 on the list!

    Hi purpleivy

Have to agree about the fruit.. i do have a juicer (2 in fact as i have my mums:p ).... but i rarely use it now as i have no problem at all in eating shed loads of fruit.. I only think a juicer is a really good idea for folks who struggle to fit their quota in during the day... but for the likes of my sis -who really doesn't like fruit  so in theory she could get her daily dose in one glass.... but not liking fruit..she ain't gonna like fruit juice either:rotfl:
I have found that i have made a conscious effort to reduce the amount of fruit i eat... as its still extra cals ... but if hungry i will chose fruit over anything else
