Well done chloe on that great loss. :T :T
JackieW - I honestly don't think there would be many if any that would say its your own fault and you've said it all before...mainly because we've all been through it and know how bloomin' hard it can be. Don't be worrying like that or thinking its a case of 'face the music' here. Most of us are here because we know how easy it is to feel like chucking it in every Monday by lunchtime!
Sometimes it just takes a while to find the best way for you... you'll find it.
Well I'm drinking a horrible cup of coffee.Bought LL full milk from Morrison and, even half and halved, I'm finding it truly disgusting (don't mind Nettos one) and I'm stuck with it all week because I've got a case and no money in budget left.
Might treat myself to 4pts over the hols as I'm having decent cuppas while hubbys home.
Shall go have a nice hot bath I think and then get stuck into my book. The library let me down Recovering and my books still in transit. Bother-ation, was looking forward to a laugh too.
Sees you all tomorrow.AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250

Evening all
Just about to go and have a soak..checked the thread and spotted your post Jackie
I doubt you will get one "its your own fault" comment from anyone on here ... heck we have all done it.... many times in my case. But the fact you have still come back to talk to us means you aren't giving up :T .
As for being embarrased....ecky thump... there is no need for any of that .... we are all trying to do the same thing... and im sure we all have our own demons to deal with, well done on the not making yourself sick by the way :T
Think you need to be a bit kinder to yourself... pick yourself up, dust yourself off and start again... what you have done over the last few days is over and done withso no beating yourself up
Hopefully once the better weather shows up you will be able to get out n about with the little one..how old is he? big enough for a kick around on the garden with his mum??? and as an added bonus -hopefully the fresh air will make him sleep more
Even when you are having a bad day in future...still try and make yourself post on here.. it could be just one comment from someone else that might stop you in your tracks ... and failing that we can rattle at you -so you don't have time to think of food :rotfl:
Rockie -hope you are feeling better soon... my brother is tucked up in bed with sinus problems... must be the weather for it...
Meanmarie.. i must have jinxed myself.. checked my peas yesterday..coming along lovely.. went out today to have a peek and the ruddy mouse has been pinching some of the peas that hadn't come through...oohh the air went blue  so i have them sat on the spare bedroom windows now..and have planted extras -just in case;) lets see the little sod find them up there.... i WILL have lots of veggies in tubs out there this year
Its probably a bit too early here for some of the stuff too.. but it doesn't stop me trying :rotfl:
Newlywed... you will whip that bit off in no time
chloebelle .... well done on the loss :T way to go :j

Hi Jackie,
Just thought I'd post to let you know I know exactly how you feel - I just had to give a lunchtime seminar where everyone was eating whilst I did the talking. Instead of getting something sensible to eat afterwards I scoffed a packet of crisps and half a big bag of Skittles and even though I feel a bit sick from all of the sugar I'm still flipping starving IYSWIM.
Sometimes common sense and all logic just goes out of the window and my greed/want takes over.
I'll be OK again tomorrow but feel rubbish about it today - worst thing is that I still will have to have a "proper" meal later otherwise I'll go a bit odd:o . So instead of trying to eat properly today I've just done the total opposite and gone bonkers instead. (I'm in the US for a few days with work and its hard enough to eat properly here anyway - especially for a veggie).
Let's just forget about today/the last few days and start again tomorrow?
It can't possibly be as bad, can it?
Chin up - everyone looks worse with a double chin and a frown!
Take care

Why not have the vodka with diet tonic or diet lemonade? One shot of vodka is only 1WW point it's what you mix it with that bumps up the points!
they don't do diet lemonade here and tonic is gross and nasty and ickyLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Am well fed up with food plan. At chorley cake and hot cross bun for lunch, kind of testing my system, after a couple of hours I was really bloated again. Will leave wheat out for a day or two, not completely but much reduced level, then have another dose and see what happens.
Well that was a healthy lunch, wasn't it. I had some rocket salad and veggies with tiny scrap of hummus left from Sat.
Dinner was carrot and coriander soup, followed by yoghurt with rasp freezer jam. Had a cheese slice since and going to get a cuppa tea now. Hungry. Bloat going down (TMI maybe, sorry)"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Hya Folks
Just popping on after trawling through all the posts...loads again!
At last beginning to feel better after this jaw joint inflammation thingy last week. Back to "normal" doses of Ibuprofen (was on double...made me feel do-lally but killed most of the pain!), so I am feeling more in the land of the living!
DH's birthday today, didn't get him much as I was ill most of last week...he did get his eye-piece for his telescope from internet, so he had something to open! I managed to get out today...first time driving since last Tuesday (great for not spending though!). So got him a nice pen for DS2 to give him...he's off ill today!
Splashed out for tea though. We often go out for birthdays, but as I am recovering and DS2 is under the weather, I splurged at the butchers. I got 4 loverly rump steaks.. mmmmmm, which we had with HM wedges, fried onions. carrots green beans and gravy...wonderful! I had to give some of my steak to DS2 (feeling much better!)...I was so full!
Instead of a birthday cake, I made Nigella's quick Chocolate Mousse...yummy, but NOT low cal!!!! I put them into glass tea cups ..I took all evening to eat mine, very rich...should have made small ones rather than 4 large...next time..no family birthdays now until mine in November!
It felt really odd going round Mr Ts with expensive and "unhealthy" stuff in the trolley (double cream, butter, G&B's cooking chocolate)..I must be doing something right! Back to OS and GC ways tomorrow!!
Off to give the birthday boy a cuddle...nearly bed-time...now there's an idea for a free pressy for DH!!
