    Hi Jackie,

Know exactly how you feel as we've all been there and done that :o Please don't make yourself sick though. As someone who used to make themselves sick daily, I really wouldn't advise starting that trick.

It can be very adictive and then you'll have ALL sorts of other problems.

Just what I would have said but didnt want to say anything (shamed really)!! and yes it is very very adictive.
One point, If I wasnt starving myself days on end sometimes if I dared binge or ate I would make my self sick sometimes even now thatvoices trys to calls me back again........anyway enough of that I shouldn't have really said what I did.

    Thank you guys,

Im sitting here crying reading your posts. I have made myself sick a couple of times in the past, and (you will be sooo angry with me for saying this), but, I actually felt really good after it:o . However, I know deep down that is not the answer, and if I kept making myself sick then I know that I would end up with loads of problems.

I just want to be able to eat sensibly, and feel better about myself and look better too. Emotional stuff makes me want to eat junk, and DH and I are having a few probs, so, that makes me eat, well it doesnt make me eat, I make mysef eat.

I just hate myself just now. Sorry for all this, just dont know who to talk to.

    Jackie

P.S Plus, Im not feeling very well either, have a really sore head and a sore neck. eating junk certainly isnt making me feel any better.

That's the whole point Jackie , it does feel good after you throw up. It is a huge relief. However, once your hair falls out it isn't such a good feeling.

Also, it can rot your teeth til they're black. My Mum started policing the toilet so she could tell if I was throwing up so I just started throwing up into plastic bags and h iding them under the bed. Nice

There is no point in hating yourself. It doesn't work. You should like yourself enough to make you want to get better. I like you and I'm dead picky ;)

    lol frogga.

Well, youve put a smile on my face.

I wont make myself sick. I promise. Ive made a lovely lasange for tea all HM, and I wasnt going to have any, however, I think maybe I should, because, maybe in a round about sort of way, it will make me feel better because, its not rubbish, its all home made, and it will probably make me feel full for quite a while, therefore making me less likely to want to eat rubbish (I hope).

    Evening all :D

Hi there jackie_W ....got your pm...am in the midst of digging you some recipes out ..don't think im ignoring you :D

as for the over eating.. some good advice there from queenpig n frogga  did i just say out loud frogga made sense ...jees i need help :p whoo hoo my ickle green friend -hope your having a good weekend :D - oh and nana sandwiches are gopping -bleughhhhhhhh :rotfl:

A few days of not eating so well won't have done any damage...just write it off, dust yourself off and carry on.. and you aren't allowed to fall off the wagon ;) we have established that we are all tied on by bits of elastic..so they stretch -and if we "fall off" we get dragged along the track on our behinds until we clamber back on :D

I had the paul mckenna book and a CD... i had it before i even moved out here..read the book and listened to the cd half a dozen times and thought no more of it... Got to Germany -decided the time was right to get myself sorted.. and it wasn't until someone mentioned it on here that i realised that it may have helped - as he told you to link something you love to eat to something that you can't stand -and that in future you would associate your fave food with the nasty thing.. i did chocolate and the dreaded whitebait... and strangely enough the smell of chocolate makes my stomach spin now  and i get no cravings at all :T Im not saying its all down to that, i think the fact that im eating everything cooked from scratch and now low fat, full of sweeteners has stabilised my hormones -so the cravings have gone
If its not too expensive i think he is worth a read/listen....
I have found this and if you scroll down he gives 4 rules -and this is pretty much what i now do.... even though i was doing this without even remembering that i had read it some where-until someone mentioned him on here, and then i saw him on about it on the TV and i sat there thinking "ooh thats what im doing" :wall:

Whatever you do..keep on posting -especially when you are having a hard time.. this is one place where you can be sure you aren't on your own in how you feel about food etc :D ..and feel free to PM me if you ever just want a chat to distract yourself ;)

well done on the loss rockie :j ... looks like i will have to bring a supply of the krisproll things back when we leave Germany..i have become dependant on them :rotfl:

Well folks so far today i have had:-
    • Hm quiche n coleslaw
    • some black grapes
    • chicken n pepper tortillas with salad
    • 1 of those custard pots... only 1 left now  ...must get nanas on monday ;) ....ooohhh and i have some bottled cherries in the fridge hmmmm i wonder????
    • there is a loaf of bread in the oven -so no doubt later i will partake of a slice of bread n cream cheese :rotfl:
Had my walk out earlier and got the newWW mag..so will let you know of anything usefull in there ;)

Ohhhh and bestest of all today.. i have been having trouble with my bras.... putting them on the tightest hooks but still the band was riding up (unable to cope with the weight of my "frontage":o )..so i dug out a bra i had ages ago-that never went anywhere near..I have a back like a russian shot putter;) ... and it fits, in fact its on its tightest -so won't last long...but it means my bra band has gone down by 8" :T :T

right im back off to the recipes.. will post them ASAP
    have a great evening everyone:D

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Have decided that I'm much better disciplined when I'm at work - take a small lunch, then no opportunity to have anything else until I get home at night, when usually DH has my supper ready! This past week (half-term) I've caught myself having a quick "snack" whenever I'm bored! OK, so things should get back to normal next week. I haven't actually gained any more, just stayed the same. However, I'm retiring in December...think I may have spotted the only disadvantage!! Will I have trained myself into good habits by then???

    Thank you Mrs M.

I do really like this site because its not like the slimming classes where you only go once a week. Here, you can come on every day every hour even, and get motivation and encouragement, and it doesnt cost you a penny.

I actually feel better already talking to you all.

Im still reading though all the posts from very first part of the weight loss challenge, and getting loads of tips and recipes.

I think I will invest on a Paul McKenna CD. I will get a 2nd hand one from Amazon, that way, if I dont think its doing me any good, I wont have wasted too much money.

Once again, thank you to every one of you for your comments, tips, and your help. xxxxxxx Big Bunches for flowers all round xxxx

Ive just texted my friend about this site too, cos she is another one that is always wanting to lose weight, but, doesnt really like going to the classes, and then I remembered when we first joined a slimming class the lengths we would go to to try to lose weight, we wouldnt wear any jewellary, wouldnt wear underwire bras, wear thongs because we thought they would weigh less than pants:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Oh the joys, that has certainly put a smile on my face.
