Heck.. you moan at me when I don't have breakfast then moan when I do.. ROFL.. I can't win!! lol

    Cornflakes for lunch!!

Oh so you're not strange, just backwards ;)

I never used to eat breakfast until I got to work - when it would be chocolate cake from the bakery - so I can't talk :rotfl:

Since I've been married I seem to get roped into making the tea and breakfast (I do cooking - he does cleaning ;)) so now I make myself have breakfast - porridge usually - (but have still eaten too many fig rolls this morning :o)

  • Hi,

I weigh 10 stone and am 5ft 6in. I'd like to get back down to 9 or 9 and a half stone. I have a speedy metabolism but at work I sit down all day and thats when I get bored and have a biscuit. I have one bar of chocolate 70% cocoa a week, do not drink during the week or even at weekend. I do go to the gym but can only go 8-4pm during week or 8-6pm at weekend. Some weekends I have my daughter so I can't go and being at work I can't get there on time as the earliest I can leave mcr is 3.30pm.

I eat cereal for breakfast, and I love vegetables more than meat. I get tired of chicken too much, like the odd steak, but love cod and haddock more. I drink decaf coffee and tea, filtered water, skimmed milk at work for drinks and semi-skimmed at home. I love pasta in my own made up sauces but love asda's puttanesca sauce. I grill and never fry, oven chips etc, veg. But not eating enough fruit, oranges boring, love yoghurts and 0% total yoghurt. Love curries too. I live alone so sometimes I end up throwing out food, eg bread.

Today I had dorset cereals flakes 45g in semi-skimmed milk.
    Mid morning a banana.
    4 biscuits
Lunch will be a pasta dish or baked potatoe.
    Dinner not sure yet.
Pudding??? My boyfriend always has a pudding - I never used to but now I find I need something sweet afterwards. Jelly works for me.

Have copied all the recipes off here, just need some pointers to improve???:T

Well, eaten lots today already. DD and I set off in the car at 8,45 for Birmingham and a 12noon appt. By 10.30 we had got to the motorway. After sometime stationary we rang and said we couldn't make it and decided to go home. Didn't move for almost 2 hours. Did 10 miles and it took us 4 hours!

DD who is nearly 18 behaving like a bored toddler and whining the whole time how boring it was. Thank heavens we had a packed lunch, snacks and drinks with us. Gave her (well not just her) something to do!

No real plans for dinner here, as we didn't know when we would be back etc. Must try and catch up with cleaning, as client in for nails first thing tomorrow. Still blowing here, not raining at the mo. Rough night.

Quick update here - managed to squeeze in lunch of a small salad and chicken pitta. This was good, I hate skipping meals as I know it makes the metabolism all sluggish. And it was a nice healthy lunch so I'm still doing ok!

No chance of the metabolism getting sluggish here. MHE should look at the ******** Guardian tomorrow and she'll see the headlines she was expecting! "Woman with sugar rush throws lentils... " or something!

I had bread for lunch and now feel really bloated, I think it's starting to look as if I'm a bit sensitive to gluten. At least I enjoyed it, haven't had bread for ages, it was lovely malted hm with seeds, cheese and branston!
