Has to be butter.
Don't eat too much bread/toast (gluten not so good with my M.E.) so use butter if I have bread.
Family uses spread, but I can't abide the texture/taste.
Sorry to say that I have been a piggy-wig, but have eaten more considerately today. (Because I'm worth it):D:D:D:D
Not just piggy over the last week, but not too well either. Better today.
Breakfast - eggs and tomatoes (from my stash of 1p for 6 eggs)
Lunch - Parsnip and carrot soup with braised liver
Tea - not decided - probably pasta and liver that I braised and "whizzed" to make a sort of pate.
Carrot and apple and pear juice0 -
Evening folks:hello:
LOTS of walking today, 20 mins to station, due to missing trains:mad: I had to get one to the other side of town and so had another 30min walk to work, went for a swim at lunchtime, then 30mins round town on the way to train and another 20 mins home, plus I've not stopped all day and have been up and down the stairs a lot!
I've had veggie sausage, SW wedges and beans for tea, I had a packet of snakajacks this afternoon and will have a glass of wine tonight - I need one after the day I've had:mad:
MrsM - feta and avocado    I could live on that too!! and beetroot
The wind's getting up here, quite scary, OH is in Derbyshire tonight and won't be home until late so I'll have to stay up until he gets home, I worry about the long drive.
Off to get my glass of wine and put my feet up to watch Holby. See you later folks:A0 -
Weigh in day for me, put on 3lb, annoyed with myself for loosing the will/way, now that means my second stone is now 3.8lb away, bother. Ok, will try better this week. One day I might be more organised...........

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Had to teach today and found myself having to join in with the 10 minutes of aerobic exercise the children do every day after assembly! So embarrassing when the 5 year-olds have more stamina than their headteacher!
Am trying really hard again this week, reminding myself that I'm doing this on doctor's orders for my health not just to look better, so every little bit of extra exercise must be helping.Resolution:

Been a long day, got myself a sensible early dinner..... then at the school do this evening for dd's leavers' concert had cheese.... but also lots of celery and grapes too. few oat crackers. Could have been worse, at least I'm not hungry now!
Day out with dd at Uni visit, so not sure how easy that will be. Maybe we ought to take something sensible with us snack-wise? I'll have porridge before I go, so that will be a good start. Guess it would be a good idea to leave dinner ready to cook when we get back, Can't remember what we''re having.
Hope you are all getting on OK. Seems quiet here, have you all been watching super skinny supersize thingy? I missed it!"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

TONIWOTY - weel done on the loss
Beemused - thats what us teachers like to see - your head making a complete a*** of themselves - makes our day worthwhile!!!!
PURPLEIVY - please dont go off the rails - you live to close to me i'll have to read about it in the local paper - 'Woman on sugar rush throws lentils at store staff' - then i'll have to become like Rockie and keep twitching my curtains
Rockie - hope your DH gets back safely from Derbeyshire. My DH went for a job interview today at 4pm - still no sign of him at 7.15pm - i had AA road check on looking for accidents - had convinced myself something must have happened as he always rings. He phones to say he was just leaving at 7.15pm and had forgatten to take his phone with him. Funny how your concern then changes to wanting to be the person who bumps them off then isn't it!!
MRSM - arhh - your DH sounds very kind and caring leaving you that little treat. I read it was your anniversary in August - if you dont mind me asking how many years will you be celebrating this year? Im a similar age to you and me and my DH are coming up to 12 years in the autumn. Id be like the incredible hulk in my wedding frock now (just not green!!) cos i think i must be 3.5 stone heavier now than then."With no money you start to discover your own inner resource" GK Chesterton2 adults, 3 children0 -
Morning all,
Just a quick as not feeling too good. Was just saying how the anxiety attacks were non existent this past month and suddenly they kick me in the teeth again. So annoying but DS2 is being a sweetie and spoiling me.
MrsMc - what a sweet thing for you DH to do. He sounds lovely.
