X threads or summat Queenpig, but what an awful shock. I would have done exactly the same as you & got all excited to think a pal had had her baby....

Try not to dwell on the news too much. Easier said than done I know, & make sure you come & off-load when you feel the need. x

    Morning folks:hello:
mhe – Thank goodness for net curtains!! :D I’m not as nosey as some round our way, working full time I only get to find out what’s going on at the weekend!

OH got home safely at 10.45, long day! I know what you mean about the worry changing to murder when they forget to phone – men!!

I had my glass of wine and 2 Dr Karg’s crispbreads with a bit of butter last night.
Brekkie today was a hastily consumed toast and marmalade – bad weather meant possible train delays so came on the bus today:mad: . Lunch is hummus and beetroot on a wholemeal muffin with a fruit salad. I’ve got a yoghurt for later and will buy some snackajacks – dancing tonight so won’t get home until late. Tea will be whatever I can make quickly when I get in!!

MrsM - your OH sounds like a real gentleman - I don't think there are many left :rotfl: Keep a tight hold of him! My OH always says he doesn't buy me flowers 'cos I'm still alive:rolleyes:

Queenpig - hope your friend is ok, If it's any consollation I'm still here and I had a bad haemorage after one of mine and medicine has come a long way since then!

Pigpen - keep on trying, one day we'll get the hang of this slimming malarky!!

    See you later folks :A

Morning everyone! sending you all good vibes, especially you Ms Queenpig :)

Kept to my plan yesterday, toast for brekkie, leftover curry for lunch and nacho's for dinner (i prefer the salsa bits rather than the cheese bits!) with my chili beans. No snacks other than an orange with lunch.

Was supposed to be going out for lunch today with a friend (who's also a client, so free lunch) but he's not confirmed so think it's off. So today looks like:

B: 2 x wholemeal w/ lime marmalade and flora light
L: small tub of beetroot, low fat cuppasoup, blood orange and a navel
D: tuna pasta (wholewheat) w/ sweetcorn

May get a yoghurt or something to go with lunch or will be tempted to eat more pasta tonight! Late night carbs = bad (I never get to eat dinner before 7:30 :( )

Have a lovely day everyone xxx
