    Hi everyone,

I'm currently on 750/750 (18 mth deal) with O2 paying £35 p/month, my bills are usually £40+ a month, am due for an upgrade 2morrow, what sort of deal can I go for? I really want a N95 & a 12 mth contract, any ideas?

    Regards

Looking around myself and have asked the same question earlier. I hate those phone stealers who will do anything to prevent you claiming cashback. Have just come from looking at the Vodaphone site via the Quidco site, 12 month contract Samsung G600 phone (the pups nuts as phones go) 150 anytime mins + 100 txts £25 per month, don't know if anyone can offer a better value for money deal. Let us know what you decide ;) Oooops nearly forgot £58 cashback from Quidco

  • Just been offered a free N95 plus 500mins and Unlimted data (only 200MB) for £35.50pm, forgot to ask about contract length.

Retention's person kept on about the data being Unlimited but when pushed went and checked that the fair use was only 200MB. Then tried to convince me that if I go over I won't get charged.

Asked what would happen if I used 1000MB every month, reply was "02 would ask you to change to a business data tariff".

So I requested my PAC code and have been told I can phone up after 48hours to get the code over the phone due to the postal strike.

The advisor at O2 is correct in what there saying.

If you do go over the 200mb fair use allowance then O2 would contact you to ask you to moderate your usage. If you kept on going over the fair usage allowance then they would move you to the "O2 Web Max" bolt on which gives you 3GB of fair usage allowance but is obviously more expensive.

I tried to get the "O2 Web Bolt" on my exisitng Business Tariff but as i'm on an old tariff this new service is not compatible with my account.
  • I called back and the Free N95 with 500mins and 200MB internet is £34.38 plus VAT for a 24 month contract with handset change at 12months.

For a 12 month contract same price but with 400mins amd 200MB pm.

    £34.38pm is £40.40pm inc VAT

£40pm inc VAT on Three gets an N95 500mins any network (or 500 texts), 300mins 3to3, 120mins video calls, 1000MB internet with X-Series Gold and a free Slingbox on an 18 month contract.

    UPDATE

Having ordered mine a week ago I was told it would be here by Tuesday at the latest. I phoned on Tuesday to check, the guy told me it was delayed due to strike. I queried this thinking they'd use a courier. He told me know and it should arrive Wednesday.

I've just called and the girl told me it was on back order-I asked why when I was ordered it and it was in stock, and was told Tuesday it was on its way? She said soemthing about lots of calls so outsourcing them so people didn't have to wait (she ignored me saying I'd rather wait than be given duff info!!)

Any way it's now being re-ordered and I won't get it until at least next Thursday. She did offer a months free line rental but to be honest I just want my new phone:mad:

I think my contract ends in a week or so, should I phone them to 'cancel' before it ends or after?
