O2 New Retention Tariff Discount 500 / Discount 750

Ok just got off the phone i had 200/200 last year for £15p/m and the N80 for £60. This year they would not budge on the tariff untill i went through to cancelations dept. And then offered me 250mins/200texts for £15pm and £100 cashback. But the only phones they would give me free are some ICE and JET which i told them to stick straight away.

Anyone else got any better, but i do have a low spend with them.

Call up saying e2save upgrades has offered you a u600 for £13 a month 200/250 on o2 200 with the u600 please match the deal as it saves me from moving to o2 cpw. I got offered it from o2 retention but at £15 a month forgot to tell them that e2save was offering it from there 14 day return stock. So I would have got a brand spanking new one from o2 for £180 for the whole year. I did try asking for a k810i but they wouldnt budge.

If anyone wants a e2save contract call them and ask for Ali in the o2 upgrade team its a redemption deal but works out at £13 a month £156 for the year.

If you do get this deal or something better tell me! Still need to upgrade as o2 have become tight since new owner telefonica.

i was on online 50 £19 per month (although been paying £14 as had £5 discount for 12 months) with 50 mins and 500 texts

they were reluctant to give me anything other than the o2 jet, o2 ice, pink nokia 7373 or sony ericsson Z710i for free since my spend has only been £14 per month over the last 12 months. they were also trying to get me to go on a slightly more expensive £20 per month tariff with less call and text allowance than what i currently have. their new tariffs are patheric - only 25 mins and 100 texts for 12 months, or 50 mins and 200 texts for 18 months! they also tried to get me to go on 18 months by offering 3 months half price line rental (which meant to save £30 i would have to spend an additional £120) they also said they would increase the warranty on the phone to 18 months. yay.

the best phone i could get for free was a nokia n73, (they totally refused to let me have the samsung u600) but i stayed on online 50 at £19 per month for 50 mins and 500 texts (i only use 50 mins and 200 texts on average) and i got £5 off line rental for 6 months on a 12 month contract.

so it should only cost me around £38 for the year as i am planning on selling the nokia n73 for approx £160 hopefully. i will probably also sell my current phone an LG chocolate in pink, as i have just bought a cheap £40 nokia 6070 from play.com to replace it.

I've been with O2 for 4 years on a staff offer contract getting 200 minutes and 50 texts for £15. Rang up as my contract is about to enter its 5th year, stated that I would like a new phone etc and to see what they could offer me.

The bloke laughed when I explained that I wanted a K610i which was what they offered me a month a go but wanted more minutes. He honestly just laughed and said that he just couldnt do anything at all and said he was reluctant to give me a phone, although he would give me a reconditioned Sony K500 with less minutes and less texts!

was on the on line tarrif of 300 textas and 75 75 min for £19 per month. rang retentions for the second time and was offered 100 a/t min and 500 texts on 12 mth contract for £20 per month. wouldnt give me u600 but did offer sony k800i or motorola k1 ( silver ) or sony ericsson z710 ( in metallic sand )
are these phones a good deal or are they dated ?
should i try retentions 1 moretime ?

just been on the phone to them and all they offered me was 500/100 for £30 or 250/150 for £24 with £75 cashback as i didnt want to change my phone !!!

are they mad when i had the same last year for £15 plus £100 cashback.. seems i may have to go searching for a new provider

don't give up just call a few more times they log the offers they make so know the number of calls you have made abt ur upgrade and if all fails just take your pac and find a network with an automated and online service so you can see how many mins you have left.

Ask for a K810i just say the k800 is a year old and the dialaphone has it for £18 a mnth 200/250 free bluetooth headset o2 200 on a 12mnths costing £215 for the year plus you could get quidco £60 cashback so then it only costs £155. If they tell you its a redemption deal tell them you've done it before with no problems. Tell me what happens just explain the deal to o2 check it on dialaphone first its there.
