I have just read this post.Well done,it was good and brave.I am so a person who is proud of cheap car insurance, good interest rates on savings!!Well hello,I overspent Christmas and had £85.OO bank charges:rolleyes:

What bloody fool would do something so stupid but hey I am being paid a high interest rate on my savings!well not £85 worth of interest that,s for sure!!For a long time, about 7 years really!!I have been a complete plonker with money and go to this site to survive, instead of actually confronting my debts of old.In fact I am going to post my anxieties and fears and commit myself to a life instead of an existance,as debt has changed me as a person beyond recognition and you are so right, its always somebody,s elses fault. It,s not,it,s mine,I need to start being open about my debt instead of living my life in secrecy.Thank you.:D

Well done for confronting your debt. Have you posted a SOA yet? Also, you might be able to pay some off with savings, even the highest rate savings account is earning you less interest than a normal average credit card or loan is charging you. Post the SOA :T and welcome!

This is such a wonderful idea. Let's do our "crap list". So far we have

    DVDs
    magazines
    canteen food
    designer coffee...

    I'll add
    diet coke
    chewing gum
empty notebooks i will never use but so beautiful
bracelets - i always buy them but never wear as uncomfortable... and buy them knowing i would never wear.. whats wrong with me
picture frames i won't use as my room flooded with picture frames but they just so pretty
decleor moisturiser for £35 when a £4 boots one would do
dinners in my fave lebanese when i cant afford
    diaries i'll never use
    tank tops

    :j

Tank tops  I can't say I have EVER bought a tank top :rotfl:

My addition is tupperware - strange but true I have so much it is ridiculous, my latest is some little wheelie bin shaped mini containers to take pickles/sauces to take to work with lunch :D

Must repeat daily 'I DO NOT need any more tupperware containers'

    I am soooooo sad
