It is quite common not to hear though, and, I have only single figure feedback despite sending umpteen dozen books !! So quite a bit different from ebay!
Edit: Found it https://www.amazon.co.uk/feedback"There are only two lasting bequests we can hope to give our children; one of these is roots, the other wings" - Hodding Carter

Whilst having a looksee at the site, I just found out how to leave buyer feedback *doh* Clicked on "View your recent Marketplace orders" then on the order ID and there it was on the top right. Anyone tried this facility ?"There are only two lasting bequests we can hope to give our children; one of these is roots, the other wings" - Hodding Carter

It used to be easier to leave feedback for your buyers but I think that they downgraded it's importance because there isn't really a lot to say, they have all paid quickly because there is no choice, not like ebay where lots can go wrong between the end of the sale and the job being complete0

Pricing as you have, will inevitably lead to the next inexperienced lister trying to undercut you and as such lead to it nee neeing out all the quicker. I personally would not even list it, based on the condition: despite the accurate description (because it probably won't sell), but if I did, it would be at £9.25 after looking at all the other versions on offer (the cheapest of which is a longterm seller and poster here).
Too many 'newbies' are listing books, not realising that they are killing the market and the damage that they are doing by reducing prices overly quickly, especially since the MartinsMoneyTips article which has brought a huge influx of new sellers who don't understand the finer points of selling here.
Edit to add: I was a newbie once and my 2nd sale was a book that I priced at £3 and was bought by another seller who listed it for £9. You learn lessons and if you want profit don't underestimate what people do pay for a book they want.0 -

I would ask if there is a possibility that they were out when the PO tried to deliver and they forgot to leave a card, I'd suggest that they contact the sorting office to see it there is a package waiting for them.
That's usually my first response when someone reports a late/missing item. It's surprising how many people either don't have a card left for them or don't see it when they come home and bundle it up with the junk mail and bin it.
By asking them to check the PO it buys you another day for delivery and that might just do it."There are only two lasting bequests we can hope to give our children; one of these is roots, the other wings" - Hodding Carter

Feedback received Quick Delivey and no problems, this was a new itme so no query on condition and he only gave me 4 out of 5,I am devastated(perhaps a slight over statement)I now only have 4.9 feedback.
I have sent him an email asking him to retract it as it cannot be ammended.0 -

It happens occasionally, but there is just the chance that the book may come back to you if your return address sticker is still attached.Angela wrote:Feedback received Quick Delivey and no problems, this was a new itme so no query on condition and he only gave me 4 out of 5,I am devastated(perhaps a slight over statement)I now only have 4.9 feedback.

That feedback's a bit mean - what more could you have done? some people don't like giving praise0 -

Must say, I've noticed this a lot when looking at people's feedback. I'm guessing its that schoolteacher mentality of never wanting to rate something as excellent so as to always give something to strive towards. Bloody annoying though.
:rolleyes::mad:
Did you ask him what he feels you could have improved on? Perhaps he wanted you to come and read it to him0 -
Just a quick reminder for anyone who hasn't considered it yet - Amazon Pro Merchant subscription can save you money if you sell over 17 items per month.
You pay £14.37 for the subscription per month and they waive the 86 pence charge per item that they would normally charge you. Also as a bit of a bonus you don't have to relist your items every couple of months either, when you list something it's for sale for 3 years! - for free.
This is a half price offer that is for your first 3 months then it reverts to the full price of £28.75 so you might just be able to clear your stuff in that 3 months then cancel it before it goes into the next month
You have to enrol before 30 November to qualify for this special offer.0 -
He's retracted the feedback,so I am back to my 5 feedback,sigh,happy bunny again.0
