You can edit the listings by going into your 'your account' (top of any page) then into 'seller account' , they'll all be there under 'open inventory' or ' open listings' or words to that effect, if there are bits you can't edit then close them and have another go, no fees invloved at all till you sell.0

I listed an item yesterday that is one of my more expensive items.
Today I've got the dreaded sale remains pending email again in respect of this new item. Leaving it 72 hours means I miss out on the weekend sales which are usually pretty lucrative. Really peeved.
I notice that it doesn't seem to physically stop you relisting it within 72 hours despite telling you that you should leave it that long. What do I risk by relisting it early?
Or is there anyway I can find out an email address of the "buyer" to ask them whether they still want it?
What a pain
Well I emailed him late this afternoon and got a reply shortly after saying he did want it but there was a problem with his credit card bla di bla, long convoluted explanation.
Just got another email from him saying he's changed his mind now, and thanks for my patience.

Still I suppose at least I don't have to wait 3 days to relist.0 -

There was a time Amazon had a shedload of problems with Switch (Don't use it anymore - Switch on Amazon that its). This actually happened to me, something to do with issue numbers and I got so fed up, I didnt bother with the sale."There are only two lasting bequests we can hope to give our children; one of these is roots, the other wings" - Hodding Carter

He was using Barclaycard. He said something weird about ordering 18 items but BC only allowed 5 to process. That in itself sounded strange as why would you do them as separate transactions? And ordering 18 items sounded a bit odd to me too.0 -

It sounds like you aren't the only one with a cancelled sale then....0 -
Are they not separate transactions when you buy in the market place?
After all it could be 18 different sellers. Afterall postage is part of the listing there.
Anyone know for certain?0 -

Don't know for certain, but don't you pay Amazon in the first instance and then they dish out the money accordingly?0 -
I recently made my first purchases on Amazon and bought two items from two different US sellers. Amazon have processed my payment and advised me that the items would have been shipped on or before the 18th October and due to arrive within 28 days. However, is it normal to not receive any contact whatsoever from the seller?
Neither has even acknowledged my payment and being used to ebay where I usually expect a note to acknowledge payment at the very least, this seems a little shoddy.

Hi Soo, these must be your 2 overseas books?
Unless things have changed recently Amazon don't make it a requirement for sellers to email the buyer to say they have recieved the order and payment or an email on dispatch either.
I think that a lot of sellers do send out an email on dispatch because if there is a problem the buyer can find it difficult to contact the seller directly, it's a bit of a maze (a pun?) if you can't find your way around the site so a buyer might be tempted to have a moan in the feedback instead. If they have your email address things can be sorted out quickly and easily.
I think that it's a very different thing if the order isn't going to be delivered in 2 days and I would have contacted my buyer out of politeness, is it worth contacting them just for a bit of reassurance that all's well?0 -

I now use the buyers email link on the original email from amazon, to let them know when its posted. I also paste dispatch label into word and enlarge thier addy before printing.
It is quite common not to hear though, and, I have only single figure feedback despite sending umpteen dozen books !! So quite a bit different from ebay!0
