Hello again everyone,
Hilstep (((hugs)))
Jannyannie and Penpen thanks for the good wishes on the new job.
My first day went well, it seemed odd being back in the workplace but it soon all came flooding back and now I know why I 'retired' in the first place:o
I now remember the feeling of being stuck in a building all day and the office politics but am realy even more glad that the job is only a four week temporary assignment 20 hrs per week and then I can see what else turns up.
I like this temping lark as you get to do all different jobs instead of being stuck long term in a boring job doing something you don't want to do
The hours are good though and even though it was a little boring today, it might get a little busier as the job goes on. My previous job was full on all of the time so it made the day passed quickly.
Got to get the boys to karate now so catch up with you all later.Proud to have dealt with my debts. Nerd number 288:j Debt free date Dec 07 :EasterBun

Well what an exciting afternoon we had, the fire alarm went off just after 2pm............and went on and on and on.................fire engines appeared and went away and the damn thing was still going off.............eventually I went down stairs, the buiders, might have know, dust from the renovations got into the kitchen sensor and set it off,it cannot tell the difference between dust and smoke.....................so another false alarm, but this time the firemen did not disable the alarm, our SHO had to come right across the city from another call to stop the alarm, and then we wait for the sercive man to come and re-set the thing, he has just gone......
SSSSSSOOOOOOOOO I did not get my sleep after all...........just a noise in my ear!!!!!!!!!!!!Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -
Hi Guys!
Pooky-Your tray bake looks scrummy.
Hillstep-Hugs.
Have had a bad day today healthwise:rolleyes: ...Ive really had enough of it all. Nurse came out this morning and gave me some pain killers which helped but a few hours are abit of a blur. OH is still not well with some kind of viral infection, but he wont let me call the doc still...he has a very weak chest and normally it turns to pnemonia if he doesnt get antibiotics and he didnt get the flu jab this year either...MEN!!!!
Anyway, I know 2 loads of washing have been done and the DW is sue to go on after dinner. We are having sausage, mash and beans as it was nice and easy to prepare.
Hope evryone is ok.
Anyone heard from Frizzhead or TM recently? Hope your both ok.
Twink-Thanks for the chat this morning.
Hugs to all.

Evening everyone
Been home from w**k for a while now and done a few litle jobs so myself and the animals are all fed and watered and the kitchen is tidy, not for long though i`ll be back in there shortly.
Pooky - your traybake looks lovely i`ll have to have a go at one of those soon, maybe 2 smaller ones as my tins are smaller.
It`s still cold here and although it has been sunny it`s not really warmed up all day and i think we`re in for another coldie tomorrow so i`d best set my alarm for earlier than normal to allow extra time to defrost the car.
Hugs to Hillstep - hope everything went ok for you today.
Tattycath - take care of yourself, you can never be too careful!
((((hugs)))) to everyone else in need today.
I`m off back into the kitchen to make a nice cuppa and slave over a hot stove (or maybe microwave i don`t know what i`m making yet)
Have a warm snuggly evening everyone.
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0
