Had a massive row with OH today and stormed off out of the house... certainly did my pedometer some good!
16,549 steps
5.14 miles
283 calories
I'm still mad at him though. Men!
Yesterday was a bit of a write off, I walked for maybe an hour tops. But I didn't eat TOO badly. And my spending is well under the limit so far this month so I am happy about that.Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

You feeling any better about the big fight today? Or still walking off the rage?
My only rage is at myself, not a good weekend at all, total pigging outwhich lasted into yesterday. Back on the wagon today (virtuously eating fruit now) - I've made a big veggie indian meal for tonight which should be pretty low cal although might taste awful  since I've never tried cooking indian before. All I know is that the lentils have gone totally to mush while the potatos are still a bit hard unless they cooked more in the cooling down process
Anyway off to have a nutritious lunch and see if I can get myself sorted again. The thing most bugging me is that I KNOW I feel miserable when I eat badly, too much sugar actually knocks my mood totally off kilter, it's not even being mad at myself, I think it's actually a chemical thing. And yet I do it and end up feeling all bloated and fed up. Still I guess I used to let it go on months, at least it's only a (long) weekend!0 -
Good for you with the fruit and the healthy Indian dinner! Don't worry, the chickpeas and potatoes will turn out fine.
I feel the same about the sugar, it really is the devil's work.
I am still waiting for my Lipobind, getting a bit impatient. I could have bought it for £25 in H&B but it was only £16 on eBay so I guess it won't hurt to wait a few days!!
Yes, still mad at OH...

Meant to say (but the sugar clearly addled my brains) not really heard of lipobind. But my firm belief is that only exercise and sensible eating can make any difference longer term and I'm a bit wary of 'cures'. but will be dying to hear how you get on..
And hope you calm down soon - emotional upset does not help the dieting! For me anyway!0 -
The Lipobind arrived yesterday. I have taken six so far, two after each meal. Nothing to report yet!
I do agree with you BTW, this is the first time I have ever tried anything like this (tablets etc), but I think I just need a total kick up the bum and if I do lose a few lbs then happy days. The girl in H&B said that they are the only thing that work, and they get a lot of repeat custom. She was the one who actually advised me to try eBay so I can't accuse her of being on the hard sell!

Just a quick pop in - how's the lipobind going?
Dunno how I'm doing really. No gym this past couple of days - too busy again - but will go tomorrow. And have managed to walk a bit. EAting probably too much and weighed myself and have maintained again. Unsurprisingly really. Better than gaining I guess...
I am going to have to start focusing on this!0 -
It's going ok so far! I'm just taking a couple of tabs after every meal. I have faith! I am also reading a couple of books on breaking bad habits/changing behaviour and hopefully it'll all help.
I've probably eaten more than I should the last couple of days, but haven't eaten sweet stuff really, and have walked lots. 15,602 steps today, that's 4.66 miles and 278 calories. So not too bad. I just want to see some results!
FOCUS... FOCUS... that'll be our mantra. I can see me chanting it on the way to work! :rotfl:Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Hi Tara
Another Monday when i think maybe I'll get back on track again  although sometimes it's hard to see how. Eating out Tues and Wed night neither of which I can get out of. And a lot of stressful stuff on this week which does make me eat more in any case! And travelling which is also an eating more/stress trigger...but still managed to get to the gym this morning and planning to go tomorrow too. And eaten reasonably well so far today.

Is it working Dizzie bop? I haven't managed to lose more than about 1lb in about 2 months but this is a very busy time for me so I'm pleased in one way not to have put anything on (I nearly always do at this time of year!). So keen to hear any good news stories
And welcome :hello:0
