Sounds nice! I must try it sometime. Well done on throwing away half the pack. :T

I had quite a stodgy dinner, OH was cooking so we had bread and hummous followed by lamb chops, broccoli and mash. And two glasses of wine. I am soooo full! :o

I just made it to 10,000 steps today, not nearly as much walking as yesterday but I didn't go far at lunchtime. The lunchtime walk really bumps up my daily total. :D

How was the pasta? Sounds totally gorgeous.

  • No pasta in the end up, couldn't be bothered to cook  so ended up making ciabatta toast and having it with veggie pate. It was nice and pretty filling so not too bad. Just had another bowl of muesli for supper. Can't believe how cold it is tonight...have ended up drinking tea to try to stay warm. And have avoided the wine - first alcohol free night in too long!

    Well done on the walking!

Yes, it is freezing!! We have the heating on all evening, I like to be cosy.

Right, off to bed now. My stomach is so full I may not sleep! In fact I might not be fit for breakfast... what a pig-out. Here's to a good day tomorrow.

  • Well I am just getting over being really cross about something but have so far resisted the urge to eat in anger which is pretty good for me.

We're debating eating out tonight but haven't reached any conclusions yet although I am starting to get hungry. 4 oatcakes with peanut butter and banana for lunch. I really need to get organised next week, I've felt that I'm not eating proper meals this week. Although realistically next week is going to be busy too.

Glad to hear you're keeping up the walking. I've barely walked the length of myself and not made it to the gym (TOTM, really didn't feel like it). Guess it's salads for tea.

    Have a good weekend!

Yesterday's eating (and booze) was pretty OTT. I actually had a takeaway at the end if the night, which I hardly ever do. But... I offset it with 10,000+ steps plus about 2 hours going mad on the dancefloor, so hopefully it won't have done too much damage. :D

Today I had toast for breakfast, and ate out for lunch and dinner, very tasty but not the healthiest stuff. Oh and some more alcohol. I walked lots as well though (without pedometer - OH thinks it's weird!!). Going to bed shortly before I eat any more!! :o Got to get back on track tomorrow and get organised for a healthy week!

How's your weekend going? Did you eat out last night?

What type of work do you do BTW? Hope I'm not being too nosey, feel free to tell me if I am!!

  • Not a great weekend for me so far, a very kind friend left in a plate of very good HM biscuits on Friday night which I ate over the next few days. Of course DH had one and a bit, declared them yummy and then didn't eat any more! And he went out to get a bottle of wine last night and came back with crisps which of course I can't resist when they're sitting there. We did go out for lunch yesterday but not too unhealthy. And I made it to the gym this morning and we are walking into town this pm. So swings and roundabouts I guess. Sounds like you are doing okay too!

As for work alas it's quite a bit desk based although from time to time I do get out and about for meetings etc. If I can I try to walk to them but just at the minute I don't always have the time. What about you?

  • Not exactly back on track today. No gym and a BIG biscuit at breaktime. Meals were reasonably healthy though and no wine (yay!). To be honest I'm not feeling too clever at the minute, feeling Friday night tired and it's only Monday. I think I might be fighting off a cold or something. And another busy week, especially from Wednesday onwards, so I'm sort of trying to be a bit careful of myself. I've been thinking of taking monday and tuesday off next week as well just to give myself a bit of a break, I've not got any meetings and I def have holiday time due. Anyway just a bit of rambling. Gonna see how I feel in the morning re the gym...I do have to go to a meeting in the PM anyway so at least I'd get a bit of a walk in...

Hope your being back on track stuck :)
