For me an hour's walk (in to the M&S sale yay!) but ended up eating out twice today plus having a yoghurt at starbucks which is healthy but mega calories. Did eat sensibly every time including refusing dessert which was being pressed on me but overall not a great day probably...fingers crossed for tomorrow....

I just had a nectarine and a banana, really wanted some chocolate but resisted! Phew.

Still feel fat, I wish it would motivate me to make more effort.

Another ok day here. Got to the gym this morning - I had to drag myself there but it was fine once I got started. And have eaten very healthily although to be fair probably a bit too much :(

On the bright side, it's amazing how the craving for chocolate etc goes after a week or so. That said I am eyeing up the wine...but determined not to have any. I even made lentil salad for tea since it isn't the kind of thing that a nice glass of red would go well with :)

    Fingers crossed for the weekend!

Its been ages since I've been on the forums and not sure if I posted here but this is what i've done since January.

I've lost 1 st 7lb - nice and slowly still enjoying my favorite stuff and exercising when I can (Wii Fit helps, I love my games lol)

About a month ago during a phase of being bad I had a wake up call, I've suspected gall stones and waiting now for an ultrasound to confirm it, the only way to stop the attacks is to eat low fat!

Put yourself in a position that the chip treat of the month or an overdose of cookies will cause you unbearable pain if you eat them instead of gain a few pounds each week soon changes your views on food and salads are your best friend lol

    Well done Cee :j:j:j

And you're right, I've also been thinking about the health implications of what I'm eating and it does definitely encourage me in the right direction.

I wondered about the DS health coach as I'm a big DS player. Anyone got this or can you tell me what it's like???

Sorry Arkonite I've only just heard of DS and never used it so no idea - might be worth asking on the health and beauty board though?

Another couple of good-ish days. It amazes me how much of a difference not drinking makes - it isn't that I ever drank more than a glass and a half of red wine at a time but more that it does give me that 'what the heck' attitude to what I'm eating. Made it to the gym yesterday and did some walking. Managed an hour walking today and have a pile of ironing to get on with later so hopefully will even out the pizza I just ate (oops, well we all have some little slips off the healthy eating bandwagon!). And I lost another pound yay! Only about 40 to go :( Seriously though I'm heading away in September on holiday and I have got to be at least half a stone lighter than I am now, the thought of trailing all that extra weight around in the heat is pretty grim!

Fingers crossed for us all for the week ahead.

Hello Cee, wow you have done well!

I have just had my second Twix of the day, and ate pretty badly all weekend... :(

OK, felt absolutely horrible and a bit disgusted at myself after the chocolate pig out - my stomach hurt too! So I made up for it with a light dinner (pasta with homemade tomato sauce and veggies) and a 90-minute walk to add to my hour's walk earlier.

I feel better now, but still cringe at the thought of eating TWO TWIXES IN A ROW.

Hi Tara, well at least you made up for it - well done!

I've had a good couple of days, I'm starting to really feel the benefits of hte new routine, I've been managing to up the walking and keep going to the gym. And have been eating healthily too although not necessarily low cal. I'm feeling a lot more energetic and just better in myself. Determined to keep this going - this is the stage when I always realise how much better I feel for getting regular exercise and eating well and I wonder just why I let things go so far...
