Hi everyone - I haven't been on here for a while - I was on a 5 day residential training course for work which has seen my diet fall to pieces - I was determined to stick to my WW points as much as I could but the food was stodgy and I was working such long hours, I felt I had to reward myself at mealtimes. However I was so busy that I only had 4 glasses of wine over the 5 days which wasn't bad as I like a wee (or big) glass of red as a reward too. On the positive side, I haven't given myself too hard a time about it and I haven't gone on a full-blown binge as I may have done in the past. I had been doing so well and this has thrown me a bit but back on the wagon again tomorrow. I have bought an expensive (300 quid) outfit for a wedding in May and it doesn't zip up the back - aargh! Does anyone else do stupid things like that? Anyway I have enough time to get into it if I get back to where I was with my diet before this week. Any help or pep talks welcome.:o

I buy stuff i can't quite fit into all the time

You can do it if you get back on the wagon now! One and a half months is plenty time to get that zip zipped!! ;)

Hi guys. So I weighed myself this morning and am still 12.4....I'm relieved because I was away for work all last week and this is normally a trigger for overeating for me. I did have a few nice slices of cake but apart from that ate fairly normally so I'm pleased with myself. And managed to get some good walks in too. But I've recently bought some new size 18 trousers and they're too tight so I def need to do something.

    Another new start!!

Well done to the losers, keep your chin up to the non-losers :)

I will weigh myself at the weekend, I keep forgetting to do it in the morning as recommended. Shall post over the weekend if I have lost any more or am still stuck in a rut :)
  • Morning all.
Arkonite Babe - good luck with the weigh in. Great you lost that lb! One less to work on.
Belfastgirl23 - well done on maintaining your loss - it's a lot harder if you're away from home.
Sassycece. You WILL fit into the outfit. Positive mental attitude: picture yourself wearing it and feeling great!
Janren - hope your cold/ flu is much better.
I've been having a mixed time - 1st bit was ok and managed to get on my bike for a (very) short time every single day for a week! Maybe I'll even get to like it some of these days. Since then though I've been feeling a bit rough and v tired so thats been that. Lost a bit at the start, got a feeling it's all back on again though. Ah well, will try harder AFTER Easter!

    Hi everyone

Took last week off as annual leave, in particular due to having my miserable cold, what a mistake! I ended up eating around 1500 kcals per day, but cos I didn't have my usual activity, when I came to weigh myself on Friday I hadn't lost a thing :( ......

Then when my boyfriend brought round an easter egg his mum had bought for me at the weekend, I really should have resisted and given it away - ANYTHING in short but eat it, but I think my non-movement on the weight loss front left me in a 'what the heck' kind of frame of mind......so disaster ensued!!

So .... an almighty kick up the bum for me, and back on the straight and narrow effective from tomorrow, before I put on any of the weight I've lost......:o

OK I am back and a little ashamed of myself. Although I did manage to pick up my gym habit again last week :) but I also ate .... well no point in going into details but if I haven't put on a few lbs I'm a monkey's uncle...

Anyone else wanting to give it another try? I suspect I'm not the only person who's been hiding out :)

Anyway a new week, month, etc etc. :) and a lovely day. Good luck everyone...

I haven't weighed myself for weeks. Instead of thinking about loosing weight for the Cirque du soleil I'm more concerned about being well enough to attend at this point. Hopefully the warm weather will start soon and help. I shall think about weight loss when I can get out of bed on a daily basis. Until then good luck gals xxx
