Good Morning All
All is well here for a change!
Dog did very well in surgery y-day, the vet managed to scrape a lot of the ulcer away. She's on more tablets and 2 different drops now. Goes back tonight for a check up. Still a long way to go. Her eye looks very cloudy, so Im hoping he's got a lot of the bad tissue and it heals lovely.
OH is fetching a glass cabinet unit later he won on ebay! He collects Tuskers, and moans that there is no where to put them, at present they are stacked in their boxes on top of the wardrobe!
Mum's just popped in to tell me about her new job she started this week, sounds scarey! She is a mental health support worker, cant go into too much detail though.
Not had chance to catch up, hope everyone is well
Have a lovely day

Try not to get overexcited at the bowls club Aussie.
Your Birthday sounds lovely Jackie.
Rest up if you can Mrs Mix.
Ageandjo...Some men have the "I can't possibly put stuff in the laundry basket" gene.
Enjoy the opera [STRIKE]posh birds[/STRIKE] Shez and Rzl.
Up early this morning as the cat had to be at the vet by 8.15. I've to pick her up at 4 so fingers crossed they can fix whatever is wrong with her.
The house is pretty tidy so I'm just planning on ironing today.
Need to make some turkey and sweetcorn soup for tonight which we'll have with paninis made in my new George Foremanesque grill from Aldi.
Dtwin2 is going to stay with her grandparents for the weekend so only one child at home and she wants to sort out her room. She's a neat freak like me.
Have a happy Friday everyone.

Fizzel hugs to you today I am sure everything will go well for you
Sola have a lovely time
Ageandjo I think all men and kids are the same mine either hang their jeans on the stair post upstairs or drop it next to the laundry basket
Well we have been looking at houses and jobs in Canada and have decided that we will go to the Canada Expo in June as we can deffinatly have a better life for about the same as our house we can have 5 beds 3 bathrooms 1 acre of land and be on a lake with our own jetty to jump off in the summer!! (hope they have stardrops and microfibre or will have to export them)
but for now back to reality off out shopping and doing a leaflet drop for work . Kids are off today so will get them to help also need to tidy up again
hugs to all who need them0 -
For Aussielass and Bargain Rzl - The spiders looked like big orange starfishes with big long spider legs that moved very fast... very very strange!!!
It must've been something I ate.... or I'm just slowly losing the plot!

Hello all  hugs to all those that need them. Hope you have a great day little tinker :bdaycake: Good luck in hospital taplady. Patentgirl and Blairweech, I know how horrible it can be at work when you work for people that make you feel awful, so I really hope it gets better for both of you. I get round my bosses behaviour by working to rule, keeping logbooks, taking notes when he talks to me so I can't be blamed for anything he's imagined he's told me. It's dreadful when you have to resort to doing things like that and it doesn't stop all of it but I find it has helped a bit. I actually own a web domain called dontworkforhim.co.uk which we're going to have a bit of fun with when we leave. We're biding our time at the moment
My OH leave things on the laundry basket tooI just don't get it. He also hangs his dressing gown on the door rather than on the hook on the back of the door. Furrypig - I think there is a book thread somewhere on here, but I don't remember which board it was on. I just started Margret Atwoods Cat's Eye, and it's dreadful so far.
We had a lovely evening in London last night, the musical was really funny and OH really enjoyed it. I booked the tickets on lastminute.com and the seats we were allocated on arrival were excellent and right in the centre of the stalls. We made it in plenty of time to grab noodles beforehand (I even found a BOGOF voucher for Wagamama's on their website, so it was very MSE too). So everything went according to plan.
Lots to do at work today, but I'm in such a good mood I don't care.I'm going to try the buttermilk scones tonight, so we might have those with egg and bacon for tea for a change. Then I have to think of something to do with the rest of that cauliflower...
Hope you all have a good day, cel x:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0 -
Good morning everyone. Just a quickie for me - busy day!
I'm off to a wedding with a friend tomorrow (she's single and I'm her "plus 1") It's a ceilidh in the Yorkshire Dales, so I'll be in my element. She's booked a B&B, and has offered to drive :j I'll be able to do my crochet. She's in the same choir as me, so we'll probably practice at the top of our lungs, too
The Small Penguins finish for half term today. DD is off for a meal and the cinema with 2 friends. DH and I are collecting them and they're sleeping here tonight.
DS is off camping for the weekend with Scouts. He's getting the chance to try his new sleeping bag and inflatable mat for the first time, so he's excited about that.
I need to bake for the girls, and crispy squares for DS to take. Veg soup for lunch.
So for possibly the first time, DH and DD will have the place to themselves tomorrow night  :T
Happy Birthday Little Tinker.
Good Luck Fizzel - are you getting professional help? PMme if you need any assistance.
Have a great day, Penny. x:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -

Still unmotivated but I'm going to write a list in a minute to help. Should be doing it now while dd is occupied with a video.
Plans for the rest of the day are cleaning and getting on top of the laundry. Tea will be Pork steaks with Caulflower cheese.
