Morning

Woke up boiling this morning OH got up at half four and went to work and put the heating on and forgot to turn it off:rolleyes:
Thank goodness it's friday I have just about had enough this week with one thing and another.
Been having words with OH about why he is so lazy around the house, he will dump all his dirty clothes NEXT to the washing basket but wont put them in it he leaves his dirty boots under the kitchen table etc etc may not sound too much agro you everyone else but it is really getting to me to the point where if he doesnt stop treating me and this house like a hotel and me like his mother then one of us will have to leave:mad:

Snowey, when I was job hunting, I was advised by someone who worked in one, not to bother with agengcies as they weren't interested in anyone over 30!!! I don't know your age, so hope I'm not being insulting.
Off to work soon, I really don't want to go as I'm so tired, I'm too old to do 2 peoples work continually. Still didn't get a lot of slep last night, it was the boy races whizzing round the estate last night. I will make sure I get my knickers on the right way today though.

It's friday - yay. woke up to a message from dd18 - she has ordered a ds from ebay and for some reason had it delivered to my house. Well of course I wasn't here so now I have a special delivery card to pick up. i said i owudl leave it at the house today and she would have to pick it up but now she says that she can't find the keys so could I pick it up and drop it to hers - oh yes dear and I'll put a broom up my wotsit so I can sweep the road while i'm cycling here and there before going to that trivial thing called paid work - you just sleep on my darling! I'm not a morning person btw. I am going to pretend that I didn't get the message until it was a smidgen too late - please don't grass me up.

Oh kathy - your ds is wonderful to do that

I feel quite tired and had a strange dream about spiders so woke up screaming (accordingly to DH). V. strange I dont remember screaming

My favourite day today FABULOUS FRIDAY!! :j I did dead filing of doom yesterday at work so will be nice to do 'real' work today.

Got some bargains yesterday, got a carrier bag full of books in the library sale for £1! And a piece of pork in tesco from £5.56 to £0.56. Which was good. I love reading so I didnt come on here last night I read instead. Got lots to catch up on tonight.

Good morning everyone

Not been on for a few days - everything has been a bit manic lately.

Went to see my friend Catowen on Tuesday and we had a lovely time catching up on each others news.

Off to work today then after that will have a stack of ironing to get through.
Will try to get most of my housework done today as friends are coming round tomorrow night for a takeaway.

DH has got 'man flu' so he won't be up to much today i suspect.

Snowy, try Freecycle for a printer - I bought a new scanner last week, and the next day one turned up on Freecycle :rolleyes:

Poor dog was limping yesterday, and couldn't put any weight on his back leg, so it was a trip to the vet with a muzzle (the dog, not me) She gave him a couple of injections, and this morning he is fine, but I have to go back to get him checked, so that will be another big bill.

Doing well on Slimming World, and think I have already lost some weight, despite having far too many glasses of wine

Well DH & I are going off to the Bowls Club for my belated birthday tea. :rolleyes: Hopefully this time the cook will be cooking and we won't have to trudge on home to cook baked beans on toast. Had an awfully busy day in the house, but you know me. When do I not.

Late night last night through work, but it was an interesting assignment, so I don't begrudge it. Got a "glitzy" press launch later, so have to be out of the office by 11.30am, which puts the pressure on me. That's upped by the fact my colleague decided at 12.30pm yesterday she wasn't coming in at all. :mad:

Having a "sisters' afternoon". Me and big sis are going for lunch and seeing Sweeny Todd at the cinema. Should be a laugh, it's been ages since we've been out together.

I exchange on the flat on Monday:T Goodbye money!!!! I can't wait though. It's so exciting.

Been discussing holidays with a friend. Thinking of a mini trip to Alton Towers in the Easter Holidays with her son and maybe Florida next year. So will keep the pin money rolling in for that - another 2p to the fund yesterday:rotfl:
