I think I live in my hubbys bad books at the moment, worringly its life stuff rather than money that puts me there.

I know that feeling  He's being really critical of everything at the moment and blaming it all on me :(

It was after a big row this morning when he fussed about giving me the money he owed so I could buy his lunches and then asked for money for a stamp and got a strop when I said all I have is enough for milk! So I though well, he's not helping with anything to do with the car, he'll hardly talk to me at the moment so no point trying to reason with him  - so just rang CCCS. Thankfully they were very understanding, changed my direct debit immediately and were seriously nice about it all ;)

    Hi Newlywed
Totally sympathise with your predicament. My car is due MOTand definitely going to fail!.
Not sure where I am going to magic the money for repairs.
Perhaps DH could purchase his own lunches with the £6.50.
    Hang in there

And next month will be much cheaper meals - just checking out the meal for two for 50p thread again. Only trouble is he won't eat pasta, rice or potatoes  as they have too much carbs, so has to be more meat and veg type meals (though he's gonna have a shock the next few days as I have hardly any veg left and no money at all so it may have to be potatoes and meat till payday :p)

Hell if you are in the bad books may as well make it a good one and give him pasta ;)

Mine moans he is turning into a jacket spud - but I have so much on with Youth Club at the moment we are being OFSTED in May first time in about 40 years since that kind of inspection so a 6 hour job is about 3 or 4 evenings a week at the moment and food is on the run!

Yeah my car is 12 years old - it's the first MOT we've put it through (only got it last June), so really worried :o. Also, I've never taken a car for an MOT before either (my dad is a mechanic and usually does it but is due for treatments at the eye hospital next week), OH isn't offering any suggestions (seems to have disowned our family car and even refuses to drive unless he feels like it) so it looks like I have to take a day off work to get that sorted too (and have no idea whether you are meant to hang around or leave your car and come back - or anything, so feel really stupid and OH is just ignoring any of my worries about it all).

To be honest, a tiny part of me hopes it fails and has to be off the road, then OH will have to sort out picking up the step kids etc (and this time I'm not forking out bus or taxi fares as I quite simply don't have them). But I know (from before) he'll say haven't got money for bus fare to get to work so can't work so can't pay bills (he's self employed), so then I'll be forced to pay that

:rotfl: Everything I do seems to be wrong in any case, so may as well go the whole hog!! :rotfl:

Thing is he'd ignore me for days then and that seriously gets on my wick - why do blokes do the whole silent treatment huff thing - why not just say what's annoyed you rather than expecting everyone to be blinkin psychic and change things without knowing what the hell is wrong??

Hmm you have all raised good points about sub boards.

I wonder if I should be brave enough and email or contact Martin? what do you think?

Makes me chuckle actually because on the main DFW board there is uproar at the thought of a sub board for diairies.

The advice for DMP is a bit different from that of DFW living but I am not sure he will think it a good idea. Then again it may help people if there is a DMP board with it showing in google searches etc.

The alternative would be this thread as a sticky but it would grow so quick.

    My brain hurts thinking!

I think it is excellent idea of having DMP as sub board like BR. It would only be fair. I am sure there would be lots of support for it from all of us support group members and also it would be easier to find for those that are now starting new threads as they can't find us. IYKWIM
