Yes, I freeze smoked salmon when it's on offer and it's fine.
I always try to have a frozen pack of "offcuts" for a quick meal, with pasta, scrambled egg, or made into a mousse
I do this because smoked salmon is both healthy and a comfort food: a rare combination0 -

My traditional Christmas breakfast is pork tomato sausage and black pudding sandwiches (on granary bread with brown sauce of course).
I bought a chunk of black pudding (sliced from the big pudding, not the sausage sort) yesterday and I've got too much.
I just wondered if it's possible to freeze it for a short time - say for a week or so.
Thanks - and Merry Christmas everybody.0 -
I freeze black pudding all the time and its fine. However, that is from the deli in the supermarket. If its from a local deli or butchers, maybe its worth phoning them to make sure.0
