    Yes i always frezze any surplus tinned beans or pulses no problem
  • Yep, I've done it with kidney beans and canellini beans before with no ill effects.

    Can I freeze mashed potato and roast parsnips please? There are some left over from Sunday roast and I dont want to waste them.

    Yep :)

    When defrosting the mash - do it in the microwave. Some water will come out of it though... you can either pour it off, or mash it back in depending on how you like your mash.

    Can I freeze roast chicken?

    Got some over from the roast but won't be home to use it up in another meal/sandwiches over the next couple of days. It's a whole leg and lots of breast so don't want to waste it!

    Yep, no problem but wrap them well and separately so its easier to use then when you need them. :)

    Anyone ever frozen creme caramel (without the crunchy topping)? I got bought a blowtorch to make some, as the OH really likes it, but the recipes seem to make more servings than we need - there are only 2 of us in the house! Is it possible to freeze it at some stage, or will it go funny?
