Anyone know what the rate falls to if you make a withdrawal during the year?
Rate stays the same, but you lose 90 days interest on the WHOLE account, and if the balance falls below £3000. you receive no interest on the account.
Withdraw
We don't encourage withdrawals on this account. Though they are possible, any withdrawal within the 12 month fixed period will mean the loss of 90 days' interest on your entire balance. If your balance drops below £3,000 you will not receive interest on your account. If you want to make a withdrawal (this must be at least £10) just visit us in any branch, call us on 0845 3 000 000 or set up a transfer through Internet banking. If you make a withdrawal from a branch and you don't want to take out cash or make a transfer you can ask us to write you a cheque, subject to a fee which is currently £20.
Please remember that money you withdraw from a Cash ISA cannot be replaced. So even if you make a withdrawal you are still only allowed to pay in a maximum of £3,000 in the 2007/2008 tax year (and £3,600 in the 2008/2009 tax year).Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -
Don't want to crank the rumour mill up further but the person I spoke to in a branch this morning said it is being withdrawn on Friday not Saturday. She was surprised when I said rumours of its demise were on the internet for days as she said she has only officially been told this morning!0

This product will only be available until the end of play on Friday.0 -
Has anybody actually had any interest added by LTSB to their ISA for the time the ISA was in the progress of being transfered or has it just been promises to add it later? I am not refering to any interest that will have been added at the time of transfer or later by the previous provider. As I left a partial amount with my previous provider all the interest for 2007/08 was added to to the remaining money0

"Open a Fixed Rate Cash ISA with a £3,000 minimum deposit at your local branch."
Guess the £3,000 can come from the transfer in.0 -

Interesting! I just popped in with boyf' as he opened his an hour ago and the guy said that it was being withdrawn at the close of play today. Will be interesting to see what happens!0 -
I opened my FRISA last month, in the middle of transferring in other ISA's, however I have one that has a notice period on it until June, they have received my transfer application and instructions to hold it until June which they agreed to, but have just received an email from them saying Lloyds TSB have advised them their fixed rate ISA is only available until May.
I have emailed back asking for the exact wording from Lloyds, and also have just rung Lloyds ISa team, the guy there thought there was a cut off date for transferring in but went away to check and came back with 'I am getting conflicting answers, and they now think there isn't a cut off point' ...so they couldn't confirm 100% either way, what a joke, suggest I read the T&Cs if nothing in there assume there isn't a cut off point, well have read them through and cannot find any reference to cut offs.
