getting a bit twitch reading this thread now!
i am due an upgrade on 13th August.. not long now! My contract expires on 13t September. I was hoping the orange merger would have been more obvious to us customers by now but it looks like things are on hold til December... and even that is still under debate.
T-mobile have said they will be getting iphone4 but to date, there has been no news (except a 'watch this space' type email)
I was hoping by the time my contract ended/was renewed, i would have the option on iphone with tmaoble as their reception is good where i am and most places near me tbh. only now i am becoming suspicious and thinking they are using teh orange merger to fool customers into thinking they will get it when really their plan is simply to wait for the merger to fulfil itself and then ofer it as part of the new company. i really don't want to wait any longer than upgrade time.. i am tormenting myself waiting this long as i took a crap phone on an 18m contract for some daft reason and now regretting it. so close to the end and wondering if i should bother looking at other place now. my OH is on 02 and i am thinking of going with them or even orange as they will be part of t-mobile soon so may be a compromise.. decisions decisions. really wanted to keep my number which is why i am trying to stick with them but not sure how much longer i can stay patient for.. lolProud to be Member of BSC #92Hoping to get debt free again :wall::heart2: working hard to make my daughters proud :heart2:0 -
i was paying £30 a month for £200 of credit. My usage is quite low now and I didnt need anywhere need as much.
Phoned them up as the deals online were rubbish. Sorted out:
htc wildfire, 300 minutes, 300 texts, unlimited internet £14 a month.
The phone wasnt in stock at the shop and I'd seen some better deals through 3rd party suppliers. Phoned them up again and told them this and got:
htc wildfire, 600 minutes, unlimited texts, unlimited internet for £10 a month
happy days!0 -

I rang up today and got 350 minutes, unlimited texts and 3GB of internet usage for a tenner a month on a rolling 30 day contract.
Unless you can get a contract for the price of the phone SIM only seems to be the way forward.0
