Hello everyone, hope you are all ok.................
So sorry that I have been away for such a long time............been trying my best to deal with the situation one day at a time.
So far, this is my story...................
Had appointment with CCCS who told me my surplus was £26 at the end of the month. They couldnt therefore put me on any management plan, so I had to deal with creditors directly. This was their recommendation:
To M&S offer of £4.
To Barclaycard offer of £5
To MBNA offer of £8
To Sainsbury offer of £5
To Natwest offer of £4
Total £26...................
Instead, this is what the plan is:-
M&S - £4
Barclaycard - £44
MBNA - £14.01
Sainsbury - £5
I have not sorted NatWest as yet................
What I found most annoying is that Barclaycard and MBNA have both said to me that if the CCCS dealt with them directly, then my payments could be much lower...........Being that CCCS has told me they cant do this and for me to deal with them directly, I have had no option but to pay them what they required.
Better than nothing I suppose.............this is ongoing only for another 3 or 4 months then they will come back to me to review situation.
I still have not changed bank account and am on to this now...........was thinking of going to RBS, but is this a part of Natwest?
Still looking for evening and weekend work.............

Hi
just popped in to say hello and to say that Natwest is part of RBS so it looks like RBS is not an option I'm afraid.
Chin up and good luck.Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free

Hi Sporter - glad to see you back.
If you can't afford these amounts then you really shouldn't be trying to pay them. Have they all agreed to stop interest and charges? (If you are in Scotland, have you tried looking at a "DAS")
Not too sure about the bank accounts, but the post office or co-op may be worth looking at.After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
