What a tale. Well done for getting Experian sorted out.

Looking forward to hearing about Equifax.

Best luck. Looks like life might get better gradually.

Yay Sporter! Not many people get to swipe £22,000 from the face of their debt in one go! (Even if it didn't exist in the first place - IYSWIM).
And all because you took your courage in your hands and spoke to them... :D would have loved to have seen your face...!

    Thanks everyone:grouphug:

Well no, I havent applied for a new credit card as I have found a few "issues" on my credit report. It states an outstanding balance of over £22,000 of debt of what I really owe. I am going to call them today and try to sort this out. I dont understand it.

Also, I spoke to CCCS early this morning (thanks Wol2). They told me to write letters to all creditors with a £1 token cheque. I have an appt with CCCS in 2 weeks time.

If I could do all this without defaulting, trust me I would........will try and see what happens next.

Still sorting out the SOA for you guys to have a look at.

    Well done Hun

Keep at it...and good news on the credit reports......look forward to seeing the SOA

    Big hugs..

Have you checked all 3 of the credit reference agencies? It may be worthwhile requesting a copy of your report from each (£2 each) by post.

    Hi guys:beer:

    Sorry I haven't been posting............a little "low" recently......

Well, last week I sent my £1 tokens to all 4 creditors by Recorded Delivery, as advised by CCCS. Today, I received a call from M&S who said that I needed to make a payment. Explained situation, told them I had sent a letter and token to them last week. He said that it may around 2 weeks for it to show on the system. He was a really nice person. He told me that he could see that I had informed them a while ago that I would be having problems in making payments and that I had called them a number of times. I said that the persons who I had spoken to previously were not really helpful. He then said that although the Call Centre is in INDIA, that the next time I call them I should ask to be transferred to someone in CHESTER:j He said that the minimum I could make to them would be £5 per month. :T Was really happy with this, but told him that I had my interview with CCCS on Tuesday and that I would call them back and let them know the situation. He was really helpful and was really nice to me. Said that they refer a lot of people to CCCS and that something would be sorted out for me.

Is it best to get information from CCCS and deal with my creditors myself, or let CCCS deal with it?

M&S were fine today............not sure how MBNA are going to deal with me....anyway 1 down...........3 to go!!!

    Hi Sporter

Glad to see you back...and well done on sending the token payments.

I'm assuming you have in the past spoken to Sainsburys (and the rest) about your pending situation so they will have those previous calls logged????

If so, I would wait until you talk to CCCS tomorrow before you contact Sainsburys.

Let us know how you get on...stay strong.........and if you feel low and want a chat, please ring me.

    Hugs to you.....

I'd wait to see what CCCS say tomorrow - 1 day won't make that much of a difference. Make sure to tell them about the charges though.
