This year I'm just going to make some American breakfast pancakes, both plain and banana style like the Hairy bikers done. Toppings will be MD's style sausage patties from the Takeaway Secret or crispy bacon, topped with maple syrup. I'll work hard at the allotment for a couple of hours to burn it off.

Ours will be of the traditional variety but with Amarena sour cherries and German vanilla sauce, we had this at a market in Oberhausen and it was sensational
  • personally i like this recipe best for my pancakes

and it's thick enough that adding blueberries or slices of banana works really really well :D

Just the traditional style (flour, eggs, milk and water) pancakes for us with lemon juice and sugar :)
We'll be having ours for brekkie as my son is off to his dads straight after school.

I will. It looked so wrong that it has to be right, like cheese and jam, strawberries and balsamic... :D
