You might find something in the old-style forum but for what's it's worth I put half a pint of milk in a jug, add 4 oz of flour, a pinch of salt and a touch of oil, plus one or two eggs depending on how I feel. And then just whisk. Hard. Sugar optional.0

how do I measure 4 oz? I have baby milk scoops, lol. How many of them?0
-
How much do the scoops hold?0

its SMA thats all I know, ok, so in terms of, ie , a mug, how many mugs is 4 oz?0

I'll move this thread to the 'Old Style' board, where the food experts will see it.

I make mine by eye - I would guess 1 mug of flour, one large egg and then add milk until it makes a thick double cream consistancy batter.0

I was looking at the batter mixed in asda for £1, there was a 1 litre container which was not even 1 eighth full of mix.
Anyways just cleaning the blender now. Any tips on frying them?0 -
Take a piece of kitchen paper and put some oil in the pan and then wipe it out - leave the paper at the side to re do after each pancake - you want the tiniest sheen of oil to make it non stick - nothing more0

I'll add this to the main pancake thread to give you more recipes
