    hi, can anyone tell me if the value of your shopping to get a minimum spend code -.e.g 50quid, has to be before alcohol/cigs? I keep getting codes accepted online but when the delivery comes it hasnt given me the money off. Ive rang up twice now and they have credited me but i was wondering if this was the reason?

    I didnt recieve any of the ones that were supposed to come on my august statement, they said they would look into it and that was a month ago, these were before they started the xx codes for extra points, and i rang up to see if i was elgiable and queried how they would know i was entitiled to them, as i ordered wine specifically to get the 1000 points, they replied that any one that ordered in eligable dates would get them.
    Any way, didnt happen, and apparantly there are huge problems with this, although should get better now that, you get an xx code to use.

    Very rude man at tesco cs, who said it has gone to It dept to check, and they may get back to me in another 2 monthes, I politely said that I thought this was unaceptable, and he put the phone doen on me!

    Have issued a complaint. And spoken to another lady who has rectified it for me.

    How many points are you outstanding. Were they due to go on August or november and where they xx codes??

    It has to be before the delivery charge, not sure about the others (but I include packs of Lager in mine ok)

    which you can use for a £80 spend, now as the total is b4 bogofs etc, if that takes it below the minimum threshold will i not get my points?

    I placed an order online yesterday for just over £100 and used a code I received: XXWY9F - which is 1500 extra clubcard points when you spend over £100.
    On the payment page it accepted the code even showed up on the payment page as: 1,500 extra clubcard points £-0.01.
    On receiving my grocery order today I checked my points total and a message showed: We're sorry but we couldn't use the following ecoupons/evouchers: 1,500 extra clubcard points, we will email you tomorrow to let you know how you can use them with your next shop. !!!
    I have spoken to their Customer services, who basically were of no help and said I had to email them. I have just emailed them and await a reply.
    Will let you know if they don't award points.

    How strange, is it because your total after discounts, missing items etc, came to less than £100? Where was this message?

    thats the message i was trying to say i get each time i use points/vouchers, even though amounts after delivery/discount are still in excess of that needed for the code.

    On two occasions ive rang the helpdesk who have just said sorry and credited my account - i did get my extra 500 points on my account straightaway btw, didnt get told to email or anything.

    I was assuming it was cos cigs were part of my total, glad that its not just me and others have problems too!

    But where are these messages???
    No points allowed on cigs, so that may well be the reason for loris problem, I am having problems with all these extra points!!!

    Sounds like i was lucky that the helpline were so helpful then - ive definately so far had 10 off and 500 extra points!

    My messages are on the second page of my bill that the delivery driver gives me - under the payment section. It gives the sub total, then specials, then total charged then the message is at the top of the next page. Blink and youd miss it though as it isnt highlighted or anything.

    Hope you get sorted and this makes sense!
