  • Cancel the order and do it again adding the voucher you wish to use manually. Don't think there is any other way around it.

    Hi Aunty,

When I get to checkout it has already taken the voucher from the bank, I tried to input the one I wanted to use but it said that it had been used too many times even though it was sitting in my bank.

I will try to delete this voucher and then input it manually to see if it uses it. Although I am assuming it will be rejected as you can't use two vouchers together.
    £2.00 Savers Club = £34.00 So Far

+ however may £2 coins I have saved in my Terramundi since 2000.

ok, tried that, guess what it adds it back into the bank and still uses the one with the long expiry.

I know this has been covered, but I just wondered has anyone, anywhere had any of the 500/1000 point total spend offers show up yet?

I've tried to speak to Tesco CS and they just say it'll happen before November, but I just doubt that somehow. I would LOVE to be proved wrong though!!!

Ok here is a bit of complicated one,

I have a number of codes banked ranging from £5 to £15 off, one of the £5 codes expires on 4/9, if i do a shop prior to 4/9 will Tesco ignore this code and take the £15 off. I would prefer the £5 one to be used, as far as I am concerned I am just as happy to get free delivery and save the other voucher for my next delivery.

What I am trying to say is that I would rather not lose vouchers because Tesco take the highest value, I would rather they were used in order of expiry.

When you input a code if it is the XX type the code is then changed to a much longer number, if I were to make a note of these numbers and then remove them from the bank, would there be a chance that when I tried to re-input them as I use them that they would be rejected as having been used too many times.

    Hope this makes sense.

What I do now rather than banking any codes I find is to keep them in a notepad file and then I get to pick which ever one I want to use depending on how much I want to spend/save each time I place an order. Tesco will always choose the highest value one, regardless of expiry dates, if you have more than one code banked, which I found out a few months ago and lost out on using a couple of £10 vouchers :(

I'm pretty sure that if you remove them from your "bank" you can re-use them at a later date, even using the long code - and if you have a list of the short codes somewhere (check the threads here) to compare it's easy to identify which are which from the first 4 or 5 letters/numbers - because they only check which ones you've used for shopping against your clubcard number ;)

Try it with a £5 code before deleting the lot to make sure you can add it back, but as far as I remember it worked for me ok :)

I have had them added in the past when the offer was for 1000 extra points on wine orders over x amount - and yes they did appear eventually in my account - just make sure you keep a copy of the receipt and write on it the code that you used just in case it doesn't get added - if I remember the points didn't show up untill it was nearly time for the next mailing so they will probably appear about the start of November

Thanks for this - how do you actually know they have been posted to your account, is it just the sudden jump in the balance?

When people have used codes for extra points in the past and they have eventually shown on statements are they itemised out on your clubcard statement as extra points or are they just labelled points in store?
    Thankyou
