Tesco grocery online codes - discussion thread

I've just had my Tesco order delivered and I'm so pleased I have to tell people!

I ordered £88 worth of stuff, and everything was bogof except 30 beef in gravy that I added for the points (thanks everyone for that tip).

Annoyingly only 6 of the beef were delivered but at least that kept the points value. It did drop the price to £72 though and my £15 off £75 voucher was shown as invalid. A quick phone call later and they agreed this wasn't fair as my order confirmation had shown the total to be well over the limit, and it's just been refunded.

Better than that though, I also had several items that I didn't order (but all that I do actually use). I told them about this as I felt guilty about them, and I got to keep the lot as it was cheaper than them picking it up! I've had that for one or two items before but not several!!

So my shopping which should have been £72 (not including the original beef order) has worked out to £26 and I have about £10 worth of extras!!! :j :T

well i just had my order delivered i ordered a low order it was only for 36 beef in gravy as i havent enough on my cc. I stated multiples of 3 and to not deliver if less than half the order is there.
Well they delivered 10 yes TEN! at a cost of £6.60 plus £3.99 delivery, they might as well of sent them royal mail it would have been cheaper. The delivery driver refused to take them back and refused money off coupons, so i had to sin for these expensive things.
This is the secind time i've ever shopped online with them and think it would be my last, sent an email of complaint but i think it will go in one ear and out of the other.

Hi loobyloose,

You need to get on the phone to CS! I can't believe the driver wouldn't take them back - it's not what you ordered and you shouldn't have to accept them.

I hope you get somewhere with the email, but I really would phone them too (sooner rather than later) and get them to have a word with the driver as I really can't see that he can refuse to take things back, after all do you get staff following you round in the Tesco's stores to make sure you don't change your mind and put things back on the shelf??
