You'll need to cancel that order and reorder.
What you could do, is change that order to as far in the future as it'll let you, and reorder on the day you want using the 1000 points voucher, otherwise I think (!) you'll lose the chance to use the £5 off code.

Since i have posted this answer to this question on the codes thread, i thought i would post it on here too as Sarah normally deletes the chat out of the codes thread after a period of time.
What you need to do to add codes with an empty basket (or even a half full one) is this.- Log in and go into the Groceries home page.
- You may or may not have items in your basket but if you dont just type something in the search box at the top. I normally type in vodka (cause i like the word). Add it to your basket.
- Go into checkout - where you will find a number of dates you can book your shopping. (dont forget these dates are only provisionaly booked till you complete your checkout). Select a date.
- Then you will be bought to the secure checkout page. If you scroll down the page you will see a box where you can put in your promotion code. Then click the box just below it saying 'use code'.
- At this DONT CONFIRM THE ORDER (unless you genuinely want it but go back the grocery basket at the top.

Valid until November 30 2005 - though I am not sure it is a generally applicable code, I got it in an email from Tesco. Good luck!0 -

Ok here is a bit of complicated one,
I have a number of codes banked ranging from £5 to £15 off, one of the £5 codes expires on 4/9, if i do a shop prior to 4/9 will Tesco ignore this code and take the £15 off. I would prefer the £5 one to be used, as far as I am concerned I am just as happy to get free delivery and save the other voucher for my next delivery.
What I am trying to say is that I would rather not lose vouchers because Tesco take the highest value, I would rather they were used in order of expiry.
When you input a code if it is the XX type the code is then changed to a much longer number, if I were to make a note of these numbers and then remove them from the bank, would there be a chance that when I tried to re-input them as I use them that they would be rejected as having been used too many times.
Hope this makes sense.£2.00 Savers Club = £34.00 So Far
+ however may £2 coins I have saved in my Terramundi since 2000.

Have just done a shop for tomorrow which is almost £60, its made up mainly of bogofs but they are taking a £5 voucher that does not expire until Dec and ignoring the one that expires on Sunday. Is there any way around this, its very frustrating.£2.00 Savers Club = £34.00 So Far
