It seems like half of this discussion about whether or not the in-store code should have been reported could have been avoided had Tony pm'd bb999 rather than publicly embarrasing him to tell him he was reporting the code to abuse. There was a note on here a couple of days ago from a newbie saying all this bickering is off-putting when you're new, but it's also nasty when you've been posting for a while. And surely when one of the things Martin would like is for more people to sign up (and then hopefully generate some revenue for the various causes he helps) it's not good for them to just see arguments - how many people will just not bother signing up because of it?

It seems odd that on a forum where people are on the whole trying to help others for whatever reason that there is the need to be flat out rude when someone goes out of their way to do something for others. Not just on this thread, but there seem to be more and more people just putting posters down for adding tips to the wrong category, or heaven forbid repeating one. It's certainly stopped me on occasion as I'd rather not be shot down in flames!

Just my opinion, but I'll steel myself for being put down for it

i wish everyone could be nice to each other, we are all trying to do the same thing here help each other with codes and offers and yes sometime codes get repeated but so what, better to have a code repeated than miss one. I have also posted codes and then held my breath incase it had already been posted earlier, i do read previous codes but you can miss one not everyone's perfect. have a nice day mse's.

As bb999 has said Martin has now posted stating that Tesco codes can be posted only if they have a valid source. My understanding was that Tesco codes were not allowed and so I removed any that were posted.

I think I should point out that Martin only posted yesterday saying that codes with a valid source code be posted.

So lets get back to the codes and remember please be nice to other moneysavers.

Also this is a discussion thread about Tesco codes and codes should not be posted here anyway.

Wirm - any chance of getting a Tesco Codes Only Thread restarted and 'stickied' then please? Best if a Mod does it then you can restate that the source must be given and that it should be open to all.

    Well said!

--Tony-- & Wirm I suggest we bury the hatchet, put any past disagreements behind us & begin using the site as it should be.

    How about it?
