I am new to this board - I think its a great place to visit and learn about all sorts of savings and swaps etc and listen to like minded people and think that life is too short for all this bickering so please lighten up - it scares newbies like me to see this and makes me not want to post or come back again.
We are adults after all
sSaving in my terramundi pot £2, £1 and 50p just for me! :j0 -
Have just logged in to discover that something is amiss with the Tesco code thread. What has happened? I have just done an order and used a code, will I get locked up?
Please will somebody enlighten me!
Many thanksStopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0 -
The code thread has been withdrawn and we can no longer post codes here for Tesco in any form
. We can only speculate why at the moment because no one is in a position to give a reason.
Doubt they will lock you up for using a code0 -
[/QUOTE]I think the initial poster is quite correct and indeed im already talking to tesco about codes at the moment as they approached me. As discussed previously the only codes that should be posted are those that are open to all
martin
As Martin says, the only codes that should be posted are those that are open to all.
So why did Wirm find it necessary to remove my previous post and report it to abuse.
Seems like Wirm may have been acting a little above his / her station?
What do you think --Tony-- ?0 -
Hi bb999 I also read martins post and as you say as long as the code is open to all martin does say you can post it. I think wirm needs to check his/her information before removing posts. Only repeating martins recent advise so don't shoot the messenger. have a nice day everyone.0

Thats what my reaction was when it was posted. If it was in a store then its open to everyone. The problem is about codes that are only meant for individuals being used by others which have been posted here.Thanx

The Tesco code thread was taken down while unknown "issues" were resolved. The Tesco code thread was always the only place you were allowed to post Tesco codes. This thread was created for "Discussion only" and not for codes
MSE Andrea has asked no more threads were started on codes.
I reported a post of a code a few days ago Directly to MSE Andrea and she asked me to report any more that appeared to Abuse, which I did in this case.
Abuse have emailed me back:Thanks Anthony
This has been removed.

Explains why the thread was taken down and has a message from MSE Andrea at the start to ask no more CODE threads be started. bb999 you have posted to that thread so know what MSE Andrea has asked.bb999 wrote:Seems like Wirm may have been acting a little above his / her station?
What do you think --Tony-- ?
I think MSE Andrea, Wirm and abuse are singing from the same hymn sheet..0 -
I think MSE Andrea, Wirm and abuse are singing from the same hymn sheet.
If that's the case, which I doubt, then it's a shame that it is a different hymn sheet to MSE Martin.
After all, the site bears Martin's name so you would expect what he says to be correct.the only codes that should be posted are those that are open to all0
