Hi Lucy - just caught up with what has happened.

You've been strong and brave to make that leap from comfort but unhappyness to an unsure but exciting new adventure in life. It will hurt, it is a grieving process, but you will come out of the other side of it an even better woman than you already are.

We're all here for you whenever you need us.

    Thanks I know.

Hopefully I will be offered a new job next week, second interview on Monday and my life makeover will be complete. But I am not being unhappy for anyone, that is not what life is about.

  • Your not selfish. It sounds like it wasnt going to work so as I said on the other thread it would have happened at some point and the pain would still be there and maybe more if you had built up frustration over it.

Its upsetting you because you are a good and kind person who doesnt want to hurt anyone. In the real world this will always happen eventually it just trying to find the best time and way.

Good attitude - and well done for making such a huge decision, it's often so much easier just to carry on even though you're unhappy just because you can't face making decisions, so you've done brilliantly to go through with it. Hope it all works out for the best for you. x
  • ((((big hugs) and always remember to look forward not back,
My finances are work in progress.
    Normal veiwing will resume shortly
  • Although you're going to be unhappy as breaking up does that, if you're happy with the reasons for the breakup, then you must have done the right thing.

When I've been really bad with depression, I found that sometimes the weight of other people doesn't help - indeed, a lot of my depression was because of other people hence the reasons I took a step away from them. Things are much MUCH better now.
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!
