What a beautiful home, I like the sitting room, but how is anyone able to have white sofa's, I doubt there will be children in that house at the moment:rotfl:

Those faded quilts were gorgeous, I would love one for my bed. I have seen so may ideas now for my bedroom and the one that started me drooling was Vintage Pleasure's bedroom. You can see it on her website of the same name.

Please don't apologise it was a genuine thank you I really can't do links and you weren't to know I had mentioned it. Upset to think I might have come across as sarcastic or something. So I owe you an apology- Sorry :kisses3:

Oh no, you didn't, I promise - not at all, so no need for sorry. :)

WOW! I want that house. It's sooooo gorgeous and the shop looks amazing too (apparently she started out when she was 19). She seems to manage to find some absolute gems in antique shops/fairs/car boots etc. I love her duck egg blue singer sewing machine.

Not finished the projects I started never mind any how.

Was very naughty and spent £8.50 on some willow basket things. I know very naughty but 50% off. They all have lining material in them. Not my first choice but hey ho.

Any one is like a hamper so that is going to be used as a laundry hamper for dirty clothes in our bedroom. And the other two are baskets not sure where they are going to go we shall see.

Have some tins of free paint (focus)to paint my bedroom just need to sort out the ceiling get a steam stripper for the wall paper and fix the ceiling so I am getting closer and close to getting at least one room finished in the house :rotfl:

You distract her, I'll nick her keys. :rotfl:

Seriously though, isn't it just lovely? Sigh.

:shhh::shhh::shhh: and I can sneak up on her.

And her house is probably my most 'favouritist' I've see on the various links posted on this thread :D I'm not going to visit her blog again because it will only remind me how unshabby chic my house is

  • Evening all,
Been reading this thread since is started and had to share my find with you. Not sure if anyone else has seen it but i went to Primark today and they have some really lovely bed throws and cushions that are almost identical to Cath Kidston. Quite similar to the ones ikeas did a while back.
I got the set that is pink with white polka dots on one side and on the other it has a candy stripes. There is also a set which has blue back ground with pink roses on, candy stripe and polka dots. I'm hoping they have it when i go back next week (after being paid!!). I'll take a pic of the set tomorrow if any one is intersted?
