Aussielass I loved your home - we have rellies in Perth and your verandah shots reminded me so much of theirs - why can't I be sitting on a verandah in the warm sunshine intead of looking through my conservatory on a really grey miserable day?

vivw - loved the vintage lifestyle site..............you're right - a lot of those things could be done ourselves with a tin of paint. I was struck by the enamel veg rack and it reminded me of one of my Mums thats kicking about in our garage somewhere..............might have to drag that out and give it a new lease of life.

So do you ever get vintage fabrics? Like from the 60's and before? If you do where do you sell them on? Loads of question sorry.I'm just about to try and turn my crafting hobby into a business and am always on the look out for vintage fabric.Anything from teatowels and tablecloths to curtains.I don't mind a few stains or tears either as most is cut up.

Check out the links to her house (bottom left of webpage)

I've just taken the time to read through her very interesting blog. Recommend it.
