Jinny & Mollymop5 thank you for your comments. This picture used to be on a cupboard door in my kitchen, when we moved couldnt bear to leave him behind so he came too even tho he is just propped up in a corner. I did think about putting him in the garden but I think the paint would weather away.

Pen why don't you sell the ones you no longer want I'm sure they'd go on ebay or one of those lovely shops that stock all kinds of nice things. You're very talented.Women and cats will do as they please and men and dogs should get used to it.;)

A question for all you ladies who have bought Linda Barkers "Just Junk" book....on the inside cover do you all have a piece glued in with Linda's signature on?
I bought a copy today from a charity shop for £1.50 and was suprised to see this when I got it home. So really chuffed.
I just checked mine and no, there's no sig in the front of mine.... don't throw the string away. You always need string!

I do have light walls so it looks quite good as is. By the time I get in to the shop they'll probably be all sold out but for that price it's good. It's about £8. I love the baskets in the top corner too.
Hello there, we are in OZ at the moment and my DIL is going to take me to a Spotlight shop.
We went to the 'tip' today, most interesting, everything was set out almost like a market, there was even a school bus full of children there learning about recycling. We found a gate for my sons garden, we are going back soon, to negotiate a price.;)0 -

Absolutely:j Thank you, I am really making the most of him, he is just the cutest. Walking at 11 months and as strong as an ox! and with a will to match but a lovely natured child. I am so tired at the end of the day:o
Hoping to check out the op shops/charity shops sometime, see what they have to offer, I might have room in my case on the way back now that the million presents for baby have been unloaded;)
Good to be able to keep in touch even if it is bed time.0 -

I'm using up all the bits of wool I've got lying around to make throws. Found quite a bit of red wool, not enough to knit me a jumper. I have decided to knit some cushion covers to go with the seaside theme for my sitting room.January spend = £100
