hello everyone.. hope you've all had a good bank hol..
we were suppose to be doing a carboot sale today. had tons to sell.. packed everything into my bro inlaws camper van which was full to the brim we had that much.. all excited.. got there and it had been postponed until sunday!!!!!!!!
i think it was because of the rain over the last few days would mean that the field would be like a marsh..
    gutted though..
there was another one down the road but you have to get there at about 7am to get a spot and that meant that all the pitches woudl have been taken by the time we got there..
ended up going to have a look round, it was packed and hardly anthing worth buying.. got a little glass cakestand for £1, that was it, is quite pretty though!

I wish we had carboots up here at the 'North Pole' (top of Scotland)but they are few and far between. We do have charity shops tho so that takes the edge of it. You lot have certainly picked up some bargains in them. My kids used to hate going in them but now there grown up where do they make for.....yep charity shops!

Mollymop5: your cushions are lovely and the quilt colours are great I.m sure your daughter will love it.

Mary43: Havn't you started on your stenciling yet:p its true hubby wont notice it thats for sure....if mine is anything to go by anyway!

I have seen Donna Dewbury doing one stroke on Utube. She makes it look soooo easy. I have tried to do that but I failed miserably even tho I practised loads.

I have some more photos if anybody is still interested?

I'm thinking of getting this candle tea light holder. Page 8 - bottom left hand corner. What do you think? I might spray paint it a soft pastel colour. I do have light walls so it looks quite good as is. By the time I get in to the shop they'll probably be all sold out but for that price it's good. It's about £8. I love the baskets in the top corner too. :D
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

We've a family that are into vintage as in 40s/50s & go to a lot of weekend events. The parents are now taking along a little white picket fence & roses to put around the door of their TENT! How 'shabby' is that!!!!:rotfl:

Jinny & Mollymop5 thank you for your comments. This picture used to be on a cupboard door in my kitchen, when we moved couldnt bear to leave him behind so he came too even tho he is just propped up in a corner. I did think about putting him in the garden but I think the paint would weather away.
