hmmm I was typing and my post disappeared!

Ooohhh I love a show and tell thread. So I have come out of lurkdom to say all the projects that you are doing are lovely. What a GREAT thread and it would be a pity for it to loose its momentum. As you were asking for photos here is my contribution if you would like to look at them!:D

vintagepleasure; Yes I did about 13 years ago, in that time a knob has gone missing and a blob of my daughters nail varnish is a forever reminder as to who used it before me!!

Vintagepleasure this used to be an old record cabinet, now a bedside cupboard. It was suprisingly easy to do. No, I dont sell any of my items, I am to self critical for that as I can see all the mistakes I make haha. Although I have ocasionally done some stuff for relatives. I have to do what I feel like at the time and not be constrained to what somebody wants me to do as it might not turn out right , if you know what I mean.

pennib - that is so clever, being able to paint like that. I used to stencil all sorts when it was 'the vogue' and still have a blanket box thats stencilled but in a fairly basic way. Bought two books of stencils from charity shop a few years back and never used them.........one's wild flowers and the other is art nouveau. I really ought to drag them out as they're such pretty stencils. Maybe I could revamp our bedside cupboars................??

anne - love the sign......................I got one last year that's on a spike and says 'May all my weeds be wild flowers'..............paints faded a bit with the weather and I'm wondering to have a go at touching it up a bit.

I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !
