If you go into the address box at the top of the page you want to link, then right click choose COPY then come back on here type what you like then click PASTE making sure you leave a space at the end of the last text you've written. This should then put a link.Thats how I do it anywaylost my way but now I'm back ! roll on 2013

I love this one but not the price tag! I need something to hang in the hallway for coats, hats, dog leads etc and something more substantial than a bog standard coat rack.
Not quite sure if it qualifies as shabby chic but I thought I'd ask anyway!
TIA
Noooooo Ikea is soooo much cheaper I have a coat rack and boot/shoe rack fro Ikea in the Leksvik range

I added some baskets from ikea http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/10087738 that fit perfectly to the shoe rack and it looks fab! it is solid pine so can be painted for a fraction of the price of Cotswold! I think they over charge by miles IMHO!!0 -

I went to Ikea a few weeks ago and saw the Leksvik coat rack in a box on the shelf but couldn't see it on the shop floor or in the catalogue. I didn't buy it because I wasn't sure how it would look. The shoe rack looks great too. I might have to persuade OH to 'pop' to Ikea (almost a 2 hour drive!) once I get paid next week.
Then I'll be scanning the F&B paint charts!
Thanks triageCos I don't shine if you don't shine.0 -
I love surfing some of these sites for inspiration. It's very gratifying when you work out how to make something for peanuts that looks like the 'expensive' stuff.
Here's a few more:

Not hugely shabby but there are a couple of nice items on there I'd class as shabby chic. Love the retro decoupage set. I'm quite fond of the heart shaped pancake pan. I'm resisting though.

French country style. Elements of shabby chic and lots of enamelware. Yum!
And it has a sale on.

Way too much good stuff on here. Trying to persuade hubby that a life size mannequin is an absolute neccesity but he's not going for it."carpe that diem"0 -
